Describe your creative process.
I begin by discussing my client's ideas, exploring the requirements of the project and preferred styles. Then I look at the client's budget and timeline to ensure optimum delivery. Once I have a good understanding of my client's requirements, I begin sketching, brainstorming and researching ideas - turning these into digital mock ups. After providing concepts to my clients, I work on a final version for the project. I always ensure my clients are 100% happy with their designs at the sign off stage and provide various file formats for print and digital use.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Deadline, budget, copy (when applicable), print requirements (stock and finish, eco friendly etc.), print quantity, any brand/preferred design guidelines and supporting visuals (e.g. logo) when applicable.
What do you love most about your job?
That no two days are the same but every day is filled with creativity.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After becoming Mum to two great kids, I wanted to be able to continue to create and collaborate whilst offering a secure future and inspiring evironment for my children. Freelancing has enabled me to do just that and my kids have played a great role in inspiring my work!
