We commissioned Samskara Design to build and design our website Tai Chi Nation. This was a big project and took many months of close collaboration.
Not only were we building a brand but also a bespoke site with commissioned photography, a news feed and an online shop selling products and downloads. This project went so
smoothly and was so much fun, I really missed them when the site was launched - so we commissioned again for a series of postcards and posters!
Working with Samskara over the years has been immense fun. They have a habit of really getting designs right early on in the process. I think this is due to their ability to tune into his clients and correctly interpret their needs and aspirations.

What makes a great website?
A great website needs to get its message across quickly, informing the viewer of what it is you have to offer, all in a professional an effective manner. Quality speaks for itself and if you require your project to be successful then you need to deal with the pro's.
It needs to look good, be easy to use and tell its whole story effortlessly. Most people leave a site after 15-20 seconds if they are not interested with what they perceive, this is why it is so important to invest in good design.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
It is important to have good communication with the client, this helps both parties to be clear and create a good working relationship.
So at the beginning of a project it is always useful to get a good brief. A good designer is intuitive and can sense whats required for the job at hand quickly and efficiently.
Describe your creative process.
I listen to the client thoroughly to get a sense of what is required and then let the magic happen!
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
An accurate idea of what is required always helps!
What do you love most about your job?
Creativity is the unfolding of the unknown becoming known, this is an exciting process..... so the enjoyment of creating something that is unique and bespoke always excites me!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have freelanced for over 30 years, so to eventually trade as Samskara Design was a natural transition.
