We're so glad that we found Jake and Ian all of our guests were impressed and up dancing by the end of the evening. We hired them to sing at our wedding during the ceremony and reception. Nothing was too much trouble, we had lots of contact with them before so that they knew exactly what it was we wanted. They sent us a sample of our first dance song even though we requested it at the last minute. They played beautifully during the ceremony and our guests couldn't believe the music was live. They performed a song that they hadn’t done before for my wife going down the aisle and it was truly perfect. Jake and ian proformed for our evening reception at our wedding last week 3.1.20. these guys where AMAZING so talented and great at what they do. everyone was up dancing and enjoying the music and i have had so many people raving about them afterwards. from booking though to the night itself communication was seamless with nothing being to much trouble. if I needed anything I only had to ask and help and advice was given immediately. These 2 are just the most talented and outstanding performers. Our wedding day really would not have been the same without them there. Perfect music choices and sets, I loved that they were able to play outside at our venue without any hesitation and they even managed to play all our music choices for the ceremony, our first dance and a few special requests. These guys are not just two exceptionally talented musicians but they are also two of the nicest, most genuine people you could wish to meet.
The background work on putting together a set list for our evening was meticulous. When we found out that, rather than play our first dance, Jake was learning the whole song to sing it live we were completely blown away and the end result did not disappoint.
Soon after our initial meeting we were emailed a playlist to use for our wedding breakfast. The content was spot on and encapsulated the style and theme of the wedding. It was so ‘us’!
The mix of live performance and DJ sets in between for the evening entertainment is perfect. Jake’s vocals are so good sometimes it was hard to notice the join.
All of our guests remarked on how good these guys were and how well they read the room and kept the party going into the wee small hours.
We cannot recommend Jake and Ian highly enough. A lot of our guests have asked for their details for upcoming events of their own. Thank you both for being the icing on the cake of what was our special day.

I’ve booked Jake and Ian to host a charity event for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital the event was simply amazing from start to finish.
Ian was instrumental in supporting this charity event with lots of great ideas and suggestions he really did give me the inspiration I needed to get this event off the ground.
On the actual evening itself both Jake and Ian turned up sorted everything out and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The evening was a roaring success with some amazing tunes that were sang by Jake and he’s incredible vocals . The crowd absolutely love the night and I had so many people Commenting on how amazing they both were.

We celebrated our joint 40th Birthday party on Saturday night with Jake & Ian. Wow! They are simply fabulous - their music was exactly what we wanted, and they oozed charisma with our guests.
Jake's voice is so amazing, at first people actually thought it was Sam Smith on a record rather than a live singer...
Ian has the most calm wonderful nature when I had a few pre-party panics. We would recommend them without any hesitation and hope that we will see them play again very soon.

If you need a Band for a Wedding or Party, you need to check out these guys. We used Jake & Ian for our wedding in August and they were absolutely amazing!
They literally made the day from the minute the service was over they had everyone up singing and dancing (even before the meal) with a real variance of music, from old 60’s classics, soul to current pop and dance tunes.

What do you love most about your job?
We enjoy performing and every event we attend at is different.
The best feeling is seeing people join in, sing, dance and have fun. We help to create treasured memories for our clients and their guests. We are very fortunate to regularly play in some of the most stunning places in the UK from premium wedding events to amazing corporate parties.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We enjoy production, performing and creating music. This has helped us to become an award-winning band!
From a live performance perspective:
We wanted to offer a better sound, better vocals, a more contemporary feel and we felt bands were playing the same tired old songs such as 'Play That Funky Music' and 'Mustang Sally'. As most music is produced electronically in the charts, we hear a lot of bands at premium functions that sound dated and can't capture the right feel and energy of modern music as they are constrained by a rock based sound.
From a DJ perspective:
We've been very disappointed with the standard of DJs at recent events. We've encountered those using CDs only so can't do requests, those who talk over every song, and those that turn up with gear that sounds like a song coming out of two potatoes at each end of the stage! So now we do it ourselves in-between our sets. One band, one contact and everything covered from ceremony, wedding breakfast, reception or corporate party. We've got you covered.

Without sounding over confident, you'll find Jake's vocals and energy unrivalled having previously been signed to EMI and having toured the world with the best vocal coaches and musicians, you'll have a talented team in place for your event, making sure everything is perfect.
You'll find our sound has variety, is contemporary and offers superb production and sound for your occasion. We provide a set that will put a smile on people's faces, we can offer a beautiful acoustic sound every wedding needs as guests mingle and enjoy their day early afternoon or evening. We will 100% also get the party started with a high energy set with full PA and full backing. This makes us versatile to your requirements and we'll create that energy a dance-floor needs. We want to freshen it all up, sound better, excite a crowd on a dance-floor and create the best memories. Only live music can do that and people are really connecting with what we are doing.
Jake has a superb voice and supported by Ian on piano/keyboards/guitar playing live in addition to backing tracks - we can adapt to the needs of our client and can be trusted to set-up discreetly, turn up and be on time!
We want to make the experience fun for clients to help plan their occasion, ensuring it works for all guests and goes with a bang. You'll find us wanting to get to know you, your song requirements and creating an occasion to remember!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We do have a protective glass screen for ceremonies if required, and can also studio record your bridal entrance as a last resort if we're unable to be there when restrictions are relaxed in Easter.
