Delightful Dining helped me with a Funeral Tea at very short notice. Celia took all the worry and stress away at such a sad time. The buffet food was to a very high standard and presented beautifully with china plates, teapots, cups saucers and linen. The team were very discreet and attentive taking plates away and tidying up, the venue was left immaculate. My husband and I married at Hampton Court House in June 2019, and it was truly the best day of our lives. We would like to extend wholehearted thanks to Celia and all of the Delightful Dining team for our catering, which went above and beyond expectations. Initially we chose Celia because of her flexibility and extensive knowledge of the venue – from our first meeting, she was warm and happy to share all of the insider info she had to help make our day extra special.Our next meeting at the tasting session certainly reaffirmed our decision…the only difficulty was choosing between the various delicious options she’d kindly provided, but when the day came we knew we’d made the right choice! We had infinite compliments from our guests on all aspects of the meal and evening service: from the canapés, main meal, trio of desserts and evening buffet through to the fantastic floor and bar staff who were all exceptional. The Delightful Dining team recently catered for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding at Hampton Court House.We’d just like to say thank you to Celia, Alex and the team for your hard work, wonderful service and delicious food! It was all so fresh and beautifully presented! There was such a range of canapés to start that we were spoilt for choice. The main meal and dessert were equally delicious and beautifully prepared and presented. All the guests were very complimentary and really enjoyed their meals.Celia and the team were so professional that nobody had any idea that they had a crisis on their hands in the morning, as they couldn’t access the food and equipment in their van. Paul and I wanted to Thank You so much for making our Wedding day so special. The food was absolutely incredible, and we had so many wonderful comments on not only your food but the service and staff as well. The potatoes were divine! And the chicken and pesto sauce went perfectly together! Paul was quite nervous ahead of his speech so he didn't manage to finish his brownie... But I had no problem polishing it off for him :) and the bacon butties in the evening were a god send! Celia and Alex absolutely made our wedding in June! From the first meeting Celia was full of good ideas and helped to guide us through the crazy wedding planning process. We didn’t use a traditional venue so required a lot of extra input, delightful dining thought of and dealt with things we hadn’t even considered and we can’t thank them enough. Celia created the most incredible menu which Alex and his team executed perfectly on the day, they worked tirelessly in a little tent attached to our marquee on one of the hottest days of the year and our guests still haven’t stopped talking about the amazing, unique food! They guided us in our DIY bar, which they ran with big smiles all through the evening and really made our vision for the day come to life! Delightful Dining prepared a cold buffet for a family birthday lunch in our garden on a very hot day this summer. They were very helpful and efficient. The food was delicious and beautifully presented with generous portions provided for 30 people. The cold meats in particular were of a very high quality - tender and full of flavour. The puddings too were a big hit! We particularly appreciated that they delivered the food just before we ate, keeping it cool! They provided all the crockery and cutlery and took it away to wash up - this was very much appreciated and of great value! Delightful Dining were the caterers for our wedding at Hampton Court House on 19 November 2016 and my husband and I don’t know where to start with feedback! The first thing we would say is that the food was absolutely incredible and the comments we each received from guests matched our thoughts entirely. As one of our ‘seasoned’ wedding guests commented: “I have been to many weddings in my time and I judge every wedding by my stomach; and yours beats them all”. Everything from the canapes, to the starter (a choice of antipasti or a trio of fish) to the main courses (a choice of either lamb or salmon) to the dessert (a trio of cheesecake, profiterole and fruit salad), everything was scrumptious! The evening food was just as fabulous and beautifully presented.

The other important thing to say is that Celia and her team could not have been more brilliant on the day: our guests’ glasses were always topped up, last-minute menu changes were handled magically (e.g. a grandmother who requested chicken whilst at the top table… a request which was met within 10 minutes and was just as delicious as the other main courses!), the wedding breakfast was served perfectly and on time (mostly thanks to Celia’s input and exceptional timing recommendations!) and the evening bar was manned with a great level of professionalism in the face of some rather well oiled wedding guests!

Finally, Celia is beyond a caterer; we had been told that weddings can be rather stressful occasions to organise and ours was no exception. Celia is absolutely the person you want at your side helping you through it. She is down-to-earth and handled every hiccup we presented her with along the way in such a lovely down-to-earth, calm and kind way we could not have done it without her.

From the moment Delightful Dining arrived for our 50th Birthday event I felt in safe hands, they took full control allowing us time to have a very enjoyable evening with friends. We hired Celia and her team to cater our wedding reception on June 23rd. Food is obviously very important at a wedding reception, and we considered many caterers from the beginning of the planning process. I'm so happy we ended up with Delightful Dining, as I don't think we could have hired anyone better. We received many compliments on how great the food was and how great the staff were. The canapés were delicious and the carvery buffet was wonderful. The potatoes are seriously the best. Celia was extremely efficient and very easy to work with and she really took on board our suggestions but also helped guide us with her knowledge and experience. We cannot rate Celia, Alex and Delightful Dining highly enough. They provided the catering and bar service for our wedding in November 2017. Not only was the food and service on our wedding day superb, but Celia's guidance and advice in the lead up to the big day was invaluable. She was honest about what would and would not work, and provided us with helpful and thoughtful suggestions about the catering, and other aspects of the wedding.
