Michael is amazing to train with. As a woman I feel very comfortable throughout my PT sessions with him as he is very respectful in catering to your physical goals. When I first started I couldn’t even push a couch by myself and I was constantly dizzy from low iron deficiency, but now 2 months into my strength training with Michael, I no longer feel dizzy and can move furniture around all by myself to vacuum under and do daily house duties comfortably without relying on my husband. I have never felt this confident with my body and I am truly amazed at what my body can do, that I never taught a female body could do. I have also lost a few cms off my waist and dresses look amazing on me now and I am falling in love with admiring my body in the mirror now rather than being ashamed to. Also I am just truly truly amazed that within the 2nd month of strength training with Micheal I went from leg pressing 48kgs to now 92kgs. He is so knowledgeable across so many different training styles, mobility, back pain relief, just to name a few.
I started out with Drew as a client back in September 2019, I was quite heavy and just had minimal knowledge as I had only done bodybuilding training previously. We worked through a lot of CrossFit workouts which was customised to my needs. He kept me accountable and helped me develop a habit of training.
I developed a back injury in 2020 and he was a big help with getting me back on track with my training. My physio had told me that I can’t lift anymore heavy weights (which was my favourite part of training) but Drew setup a plan where we strategically and slowly worked to get rid of my back pain and how to manage it.
In June of 2022, I wanted to start training for a Powerlifting competition. Drew helped me through a few training cycles and helped me hit a pb on all 3 of my lifts.
This was a big moment for me as I was able to go from back pain to deadlifting 190kgs as a pb.

If you want to go hard you can- and he will push and encourage you to do so, if not there's no pressure- exercise at your own pace. His focus is on good technique not necessarily your rep count which is good if you want to remain injury free. Being pregnant and currently in my 3rd trimester I still have been able to attend sessions through my whole pregnancy as Sashi has been able to tailor sessions to ensure I'm doing pregnancy safe exercises. There are plenty of sessions on offer both morning and night through the week, which should suit most busy lifestyles. We also have an online platform that you can use for the exercises we prescribe and we track you when you are not with us. We also do Nutrition coaching utilising a world class platform called Precision Nutrition which is all about teaching long term skills to eat better. There is an app that you have access to and an amazing system backing it up build on behavioural science principles.
Obviously online training is the ultimate Covid 19 safe plan but in person we adhere to all the recommendations by the health authorities to keep you safe.
