Drawing on his sporting background Johann creates customised training programs with ongoing feedback and alterations to ensure maximum performance with minimal injury or fatigue risk. Johann is friendly, professional and would say his style of training is based around more the moderate to long term improvement in health, strength and fitness. He places a strong emphasis on balance through the body, so expect to do a healthy dose of core, glute and stability work during your sessions.
I work with the client to set achievable and trackable goals. This would generally involve some kind of testing or measurement. Then there is a semi-regular check-in and retesting to assess if we're on track. Most important to me is regular communication with the client to ensure we're working in a way that suits them, and what they're trying to achieve.
Be realistic and prioritise health over image. This is not really my domain, nor is it something I like to encourage. it's a slippery slope to an unwell place when you solely focus on image.
