John at West Country catering could not have been more helpful. He organised the food for our Diamondwedding recently, and the food and service he provided was second to none. He and Michaela were pleasant, friendly and very efficient and we would happily recommend this company to anyone planning a similar event. All of our guests were very impressed with both the food and the service. Five stars indeed, and more if it were possible!

Gareth came to cook for 15 of us at my hen do that my daughter organised for us, near Bristol. The food was exquisite. we had a two course meal, I opted for the salmon, followed by Eton mess, it was divine and for the first time in my life I ate the skin! From presentation to taste I would give 10/10. He was such a lovely friendly guy, totally at ease amongst us, and left the kitchen spotless. If you are thinking of having a chef for an event or special occasion, then look no further, you won't be disapppointed. Thanks again, Gareth. x?? ✅

Booked 'The Bears Table' to cook for 15 of us for my Mum's hen do and it was without a doubt, the biggest highlight of our weekend!! Not only was Gareth a phenomenonal chef, he was absolutely hilarious and entertained all of the bridal party, and felt more like a friend who came to cook for us! The pan-seared salmon dish in particular was exquisite (and Gareth even made some extra food for us which went down very very well later in the evening!) If you're looking at booking a private chef for any upcoming event or hen do, I cannot recommend 'The Bears Table' enough - we're already planning another excuse for 'The Bear' to come and cook for us again!
