I love dogs and being able to help people create a stronger connection with their pet is my favourite part of the job. Puppy training can be particularly rewarding as well!
I can offer everything from house training a puppy to teaching an adult how to complete an agility course in competition. I specialise in commands and being able to instruct owners on how to handle their pup, as well as teaching them how to better understand their dog. One of the more specialist aspects I train on is separation anxiety.
I believe I offer a great range, including home visits, group sessions, and private one-to-one instructor classes. I’m also happy meeting in a suitable public place such as a dog park. Working with you and your dog, we’ll create a routine that works perfectly.
I have earned qualifications from: the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors, Level 3 CPD Accredited Dog Training, Diploma in Dog Training, and more. I’ve also attended dozens of seminars hosted by leading trainers/behaviourists. I’m a full member of the Guild of Dog Trainers and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

I just booked a couple of sessions with Naomi to help me on recall with my 1 year old cocker spaniel , Ronnie. The 2 sessions have transformed how I walk and interact with my dog. I actually am mad enough to have 2 spaniels and had lost the joy of walking trying to control the me both - walks had become stressful even though both had some basic gun dog training. I was really struggling to manage the long line with him and as I live rurally far too many distractions of deer, rabbit and pheasant to let him off safely. A few weeks on and I have now taken to walking Ronnie on his own when I can..still long line - whilst not perfect ( he is a spaniel after all) there is massive progress .. checks in all the time, lots of rewards and way less pulling.. and recall is good. Sits by my side nicely if I stop and talk to someone. And will walk to heal if asked with no problem even on the long line. Naomi's method was very different to my gun dog training but he has responded so well. He is also getting the hang of settle in the evening and with a bit more crate rest in the day.. the resource guarding of me has also lessened. I think my tactic of walking for miles and letting him tear around was too much and he was over tired. So a little intervention from Naomi has gone a long way. I don't just walk the dog - we play games ( although not in the least bit interested in toys or balls!) and have lots of eye contact. Less how many steps and more about having a fun time out with the dog. We are all still a work in progress - but I'd highly recommend Paws 4 Training for positive reward based training. Naomi comes out on the walk so she can see you in action and some great follow up notes and exercises as reminders. I

Tracy was a life saver! We loved our little Enzo but were totally out of our depth, Tracy quickly gave us really practical advice, her lessons were informative, methods simple but very effective. She saved our Rugs from his peeing, out lamps from his chewing, and our sleep from his hatred of his crate. I could not recommend Tracy highly enough.
