Had my winter wedding here and it was perfect! Great venue with all the rustic charm you could imagine. The high ceilings and lights were beautiful. Had a perfect background for a ceremony. Tons of tables and chairs available. Karmel was wonderful to work with and very flexible. My wedding was even prettier than I imagined here. All my visions came to life. Thanks Karmel!

HHonors Diamond Member. Â Stumbled across this BRAND NEW property during my last business trip. Â It had only been open for less than a week. Â Amazingly premium property with great amenities. Â Lobby is very modern, bar provides a pretty decent selection, and restaurant wasn't too bad either (not much selection on the menu but food was well prepared). Â Used the fitness center once during this stay. Â Contains free weights as well as several other work out machines. Â The rooms are very spacious with modern fixtures. Â Bathroom is completely updated. Â Location is perfect, situated right behind the old DoubleTree and just a few blocks away from the airport. Â Speaking of which, their shuttle service is very convenient. Â Overall, until prices get out of hand, this is without a doubt the best Hilton Garden Inn property I've stayed at in quite some time. Â 5 Stars to the developers and and management team.

Cedarbrook Lodge is a hidden gem, located in the vicinity of Sea Tac Airport. The restaurant, Copper Leaf, is a leader in the sustainable food arena, with a creative and well designed menu, including a first rate breakfast buffet, and creative happy hour fare. There are also living spaces, complete with fridges stocked with items like yogurt and cheese sticks, and counters, with containers of lovely candies and nuts. There is a relaxed vibe here; choose any number of trails and walkways around the property, as there is definite intrinsic and extrinsic beauty in both the structural and the landscape design. The changes in the South Seattle landscape have made this hotel surprisingly centrally located. The staff is professional, kind, and willing to share their affection for this beautiful, well-run property.

how can I be the first to review? this is a surreally fabulous venue for music (mostly jazz, all kinds), a fantastic dinner, an intimate yet wonderfully warm and friendly evening out. do NOT let the odd reservation policy/location dissuade you: yes, it's in the "town center" building of a retirement community in Issaquah with a gatekeeper you have to sign in with, but that ends up by enhancing its charm- you feel exclusive, in on a magical- if odd- secret. and yes, you need to order your dinner when you make your online reservation- but that just means it'll be fresh and perfectly cooked to order- impeccably served and presented with time to enjoy it fully amidst a pleasant murmur of appreciation. I've been there at least 4 times, and each one has been a revelation of how a personal vision of gracious hospitality combined with a pitch-perfect palate AND musical passion can create an oasis of sensory celebration. Craig Baker says that if anyone doesn't leave the evening feeling more relaxed and better about themselves and others that he'll refund their money, and I can't imagine that anyone has ever taken him up on it.Craig and his entire family have made this such a labor of love and good taste that it flavors the food, fills the space. He invites you into what he sees as an extended living room- it's a cafe by day, an ample yet intimate dining room by night that can seat about 75. every detail is well-thought and of a whole: the hand-made tables have room for each and all and every dish without crowding, and are spaced to move around easily. the chairs are cushy enough to relax in without having to struggle out of. I could go on about the lighting, the wine list (there's also a full bar), the food, the utensils, the fixtures, how Craig's own personal welcome and easy warmth suffuse the room- all sensible and sensitive choices- but must get to the music, which is exemplary, a privilege to hear and witness because of Craig's choices, the musicians' own gratitude at having such an ideal venue, the absolutely perfect sound system and acoustics, the lighting and unobstructed sight lines.go. do everything you can to experience this gem while you can- don't let the location, the venue, the utter singularity of this venture do anything but intrigue you. it deserves your support, your wholehearted enthusiasm. bring your friends and they, too, will become believers, besides forever on raising you in their eyes for having brought them there. would that there were a Craig Baker and family in every field, and that we'd all be lucky enough to find them.
