Sometimes I overestimate my eating abilities, and think i'm Man Vs. Food. I went in here refusing to try just one of their awesome looking HALF POUND cookies. So I got the Reeses Pieces Peanut Butter ($3.50), and the Chocolate Chip cookie ($3.50). I then spotted their monthly special cupcake, the Cookies n'Dream ($3.50), which is a cookies and cream cake with vanilla icing, filled with nuttella, and topped with a nutella dipped oreo. Could. Not. Resist. I took a couple bites of the Chocolate Chip Cookie, and while it's seriously amazing, its so overwhelming and rich. Its basically a chocolate bar, with some cookie dough surrounding it. Â The Reeses Pieces Peanut Butter is really where it's at. Not nearly as overwhelming, and definitely much easier to eat. It was still warm, and gooey, and had no regrets about having consumed the whole thing. One of the best cookies i've ever had. The Cookies n'Dream Cupcake is where I was severely disappointed. It had such potential. The cupcake was stale and crumbled into hard pieces as I removed the paper. Also as I removed the paper, the nutella filling was so hard that it stuck to the paper and came out of the cupcake. The icing was pretty good, borderline too sweet. I'm sure this cupcake would have been heaven had it been fresh, but it really tasted like it was a couple of days old. I highly recommend at least checking out their cookies, and I'd probably pass on the cupcakes. This place is easily overlooked, because it resides in the basement of a building. The only way I knew where it was, was a sign placed outside. It has no seating, and is extremely tiny. Also the card minimum is $10.00, so bring cash if you don't plan on getting too crazy.

I love this bakery! I have taken three classes here, one macaron and two croissant, with friends and on my own, and they have been my most favorite of any cooking/baking classes that I have taken. The classes are small and organized, and the instructors are fantastic (and French!). I've also stopped in for coffee, pastries, and quiche. Everything at the bakery is fresh and delicious and the staff are kind and friendly. It's a gem!
