I called AV Pros to see what the cost for an outside antenna installed on our roof. Arden quoted $250 and we scheduled an appointment. He called a few hours early and said he was free so I had him come over. He installed the antenna and ran the cable through the side of the house as requested.All the work was done well and he said there is a 1 yr warrantee on the installation which is great. The only issue I had was that he quoted me $250 for the installation on the phone but when he gave me the invoice after installation, it was for $325 which included $70 in hardware and wiring and tax. It would have been better to be clear up front that the $250 is for labor only and there are additional charges for materials (brackets, cable, etc).

We found Brian and Amber at close to the last minute - we had a misunderstanding with our previous decorator, and had to scramble to find someone else quickly. They put together a great lighting design that included string lights hanging across the entire ceiling of the sizeable auditorium, and "stars" projected on draping against the walls. The execution of the design was breathtaking and exactly what we wanted. On top of that, it ended up raining on our wedding day and we had to move the ceremony indoors - again, a last-minute development. Brian went back to his office and brought us additional lighting to help transform the dim room into a beautiful space for our ceremony.Pricing was a little more than we intended to spend, but they were very flexible and let us trim down the contract a la carte. The ambiance they helped create made it worth every penny.I give 4/5 because they were a bit lacking on communication. It took a while to hear back from them for a quote, which was distressing especially since we were down to the wire. At times there was a lapse of a few days before we got a response to a question. However, we're glad we stuck with them, because the results were absolutely fantastic!

I see how much it makes them happy to have a functioning item or repair that is gives me joy for them. The process of repairing or installing something new in a home is fun for me and often not for the customer. So it is a happy thing for them to pay for the service.
As a young man I grew up with a single mom and she often had a list of repairs around the home weekly. So it taught me how to repair and look for solutions to repair broken things. Back then we didn't have YouTube and other online videos to instruct me on how to make a repair or install an item. So I had to use my creative mind to come up with possible ideas for a repair. So in a way it was a puzzle for me that I enjoyed solving.
I do what my competitors don't. We answer peoples calls, Text them if we can't answer their call immediately and if one of our tech's is already on the phone, then we call them back, we show up on time and smell good. In addition we look for small repairs we can do for free that perhaps a customer doesn't see and then we point out how we repaired it. This often brings a smile and more confidence that we love their home too.
We can do both. But much prefer to be hands on with see and touching the home project preparation. Not to mention that we can't repair a home over the phone.
We carry masks on our service van's that can be worn while we perform our work. In addition we wash our hands with soap and water and or use hand sanitizer. We are careful about hand shaking and distance, especially if the customer has suggested that we be aware of their concern about Covid 19.
