I was referred to Christi by several friends when I asked for advice to work through back, neck and arm pain following a car accident late last year. I have had 7 or 8 massages over the past few months of at least 90 minutes each, once we went for 2.5 hours! I was incredulous that I had been on the table that long -- it didn't feel like much time had passed because the experience was so absorbing. I value learning what is happening with my body and Christi took the time to explain her approach as we went, which helped me a lot to let go of the fear that my body was never going to feel "normal" again. I have never had longer-term, therapeutic massage before and wasn't sure what to expect. With Christi, I have felt like I have had a partner working closely and very interactively with me to meet my short term and long term health goals. With each successive massage, a bit more range of motion has been restored and a bit more pain released. Christi is amazingly knowledgeable, intuitive and is great about checking in to see what, if anything, needs to be adapted. Besides her in-depth knowledge and skills, she is an extremely nice person to boot. I now consider her a trusted friend as well as a valued health professional. Note: I chose "great deals" from among the options available to me. That doesn't feel quite right -- I wish it said great value instead. The investment in working with Christi over 20+ hours or so was well worth it and has yielded better results than the physical therapy I was also doing for a while at a far greater cost. Nothing against other methods, but if you are trying to work through pain after an accident I am doubtful you could find a better choice than to work with Christi.
