I needed a headshot with little notice and Meghan was able to get me in within two days. During the shoot she was friendly and accommodating. The pictures turned out great and I was very pleased with the quality. I highly recommend her and would use her again.

My husband and I were expecting our first child and wanted to take maternity pictures and happened to find Natalie among other photographers in our area, on Yelp. In the end, we did go through with having Natalie take our pictures. The photo session with Natalie turned out to be absolutely lovely! She was also really helpful in getting us prepared for the day. And finally, the pictures came out beautifully - We couldn't recommend her more!

itsaBelly saved us!  When our first child was born we were immediately overwhelmed by the gravity of raising an infant.  Despite reading all the popular parenting books, we got home from the hospital and had no idea what we were doing.  It was terrifying.  In a desperate sleepless stupor we starting searching for doulas... something that had seemed frivolous and unnecessary before the baby was born.  Deana was immediately responsive, understanding, helpful and kind.  Despite a full schedule she coordinated to have 7 day a week nighttime doula coverage to help us get some sleep.  Starting THE NEXT DAY!  Most people plan months in advance for this type of service.  Another plus: their fixed rate pricing is very reasonable especially compared to other local doulas.  They don't ask where you live and set rates based on whether they think you can afford more (which other services do).  Thank god for itsaBelly not taking advantage of new parents in a desperate situation.It might seem scary to hand over your newborn to a stranger for the night.  And it was.  But fortunately Melissa and Elizabeth are two of the kindest, most knowledgeable and most trustworthy people I have ever met.  They taught us how to swaddle and burp and soothe.  They showed me different breastfeeding techniques and sent links to articles or local resources to answer all my ridiculous questions.  They coached us through post partem issues and provided support that no family member could ever have provided.  On top of their expertise it was just really nice to see a friendly face and have someone to talk with when feeding a baby multiple times in the middle of the night.  Now that the "dark days" are behind us I can't imagine how we would have made it without Elizabeth and Melissa.  We absolutely 100% recommend itsaBelly and their expert doulas!  Call them now!

You have a gift to capture personality like no other! Perhaps it's because you're a mom too that makes working the child you are working with feel at ease, whatever it is, as a result we have some timeless photos of our girls. Thank you!

Parallel Photography did a great job at our wedding! Erin was my main contact, and she was professional, prepared, and really fun to work with. Great personality and sense of judgement. She knew when to be present and assertive to get good shots, but also knew when it was time to be more discreet and disapear into the background (yet still managed to get great shots!) We were hoping to spend a little less $$ on wedding photography, but in hind-sight, I'm so glad that we paid for beautiful documentation of the whole day. No regrets! I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for well balanced, authentic, artful photos.
