I was in search of a bakery in South County that could make an Italian Rum Cake, when I found Momma's Dolce. Â I had never heard of a Cassata, which is a traditional Sicilian Rum Cake with an almond paste frosting. Â After speaking with the owner, it sounded like an exciting new dessert for us to try so we ordered one. Â It was delicious and everyone enjoyed it and remarked not only about how good it tasted, but how the presentation was so nice. Â They were so easy to work with and it was truly a pleasure. Â We are looking forward to our next occasion to order more wonderful desserts from them. Â I highly recommend them for your next party, event or if you just want an awesome dessert to enjoy.
