I couldn’t have found a better partner for my project! I came into the project with scattered ideas and a limited sense of what would actually work for my house, and Julia managed to take everything I said and come up with a design I love. Wanting to still make sure I was making the best decision, I spent time on my own considering variations on the design, only to come back to Julia’s plan every time. I’m really impressed with the way she figured out what to do with the space so quickly, all while showing that she actually understood what I wanted (without just stopping at the surface of my request) and that she could balance her sensibilities with my own. Design sense aside, she was also a great project manager — she always kept the plan moving, responded quickly to my messages, and sent me messages that showed she had my project on her mind and cared about it. I’m SO happy with the design and I know I wouldn't have gotten here without Julia.

We have a mid century modern ranch in Pleasant Ridge MI. The house is great, bu the basement had issues. It needed new carpeting an decorating. Rowan Expressions came to help. They used some of our furniture and art work, but the placement was very different then before and really made the space more fluid. The new accent pieces that were added complemented what we already loved. This resulted in a very warm inviting space for us to relax in or invite friends for a to party or relax.

Purchased a bar cutting board from LWB - top notch! It is beautifully crafted and is a great addition to our home. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends.

Sarah is amazing! Her sweet smile makes her a pleasure to work with. I told her that I just wanted some living room furniture. I wanted a few choices and I didn’t want to have to do any of the hunting. She presented me with several furniture options and arrangements in the room. On the day the furniture arrived she was there to set it all up and make sure I was happy. She has done the same thing for me with other projects and I love working with Sarah! She knows how to take the stress out of decorating!
