Have been training for 52yrs. Were training just working dogs until friends couldn't afford available trainers. We offer great service at a great price. No force, no pain and no gimmicks. We use a teaching method that the dog understands.

Mike and his team were absolutely fantastic, and I can't recommend Public Safety Dogs enough.
Leo is a 3 year old Belgian Malinois rescue from a local shelter. I don’t think he had ever been on a leash before when we got him. He would get wrapped up around our legs, pulling every which way, distracted beyond a recall of any sort. Our biggest issue was seeing other dogs. Simply put, he was aggressive. Very aggressive. Keith and I realized this was an issue that was out of our wheelhouse and we reached out to local board and trains for help.
Mike reached out the next morning and right from that first phone call I could tell he knew his stuff. Leo had already started with a day trainer at this point so we discussed what was going well and what wasn’t. He went to Mike for aggression with other dogs, lash pulling, learning commands like sit, down, stay, etc. He also exposed him to so many different areas to give Leo more confidence.
After 2 weeks he came back a completely different dog. He knows heel and doesn’t pull on his leash anymore. Speeds up when I do and slows down on a dime. He knows all his commands and has great recall. We can walk past dogs without him barking, growling or whining. He lets us brush him, and trim his nails. He seems more at ease in general.
I came to Mike being really scared. Returning Leo to a shelter was NOT an option, but I also recognized that I couldn’t control him which was dangerous for him, other dogs & people, and myself.
We had paid nearly $900 for 4 sessions with our day trainer. The board and trains that we talked to were thousands of dollars. We were looking at all types of ways to finance it or put it on a credit card…it was stressful.
Public Safety Dogs is a non-profit organization. What Mike charges for a board and train is far more affordable than his counterparts, but his outcomes are no less desirable.
We now have a confident and polite dog, who made his first ever doggy friend yesterday!
I will also say this…when we went to pick Leo up I could see the bond and relationship he now had with Mike and his team. He loves Mike, and we’ll continue to go visit him and his family and team for the years to come. Board & Train with Public Safety Dogs is not transactional, it is a community and we are forever thankful for them!

My dogs are scared of every groomer but somehow the owner of Puppy Love N Style has won them over. Im actually surprised they donot have any reviews yet because everytime i visit, they are busy. They are a tiny lovation nestled on 54 hwy by the interstate. They have GREAT prices too. $5 to cut nails Thank You! And thank you for being so good with animals.
