Welcome to my Bark profile and I hope to give you a sense of why you should choose me as someone who can help you navigate through a difficult period in your life. I am a seasoned psychotherapist who has worked in private practice for many years. I work with adults and adolescents with a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, grief as well as all of life’s many transitions including divorce, empty nest and the loss of a loved one.

Alternative Therapy Services uses both hypnotherapy and Spiritual counseling to service my clients. My specialty and certifications are in Relapse Prevention for those in recovery and if the client wishes, Harm Reduction for those still in addiction. My secondary certification is in healing PTSD, Trauma and Phobias. I am skilled in Weight Control, past life regression, Smoke-free Hypnosis, Regression Therapy as well as Abuse and other general Hypnotherapy processes.

I am a marriage and family therapist with two offices in Orinda and Lafayette. I have a warm, yet direct approach to helping people live better lives. I specialize in divorce support and recovery and I am a Certified Discernment Counselor. That means I help couples who are on the brink of divorce. I have worked at Casa Serena eating disorders clinic and at the Contra Costa Crisis Center as a grief therapist.

We are a group of highly trained and experienced hypnotherapists from very diverse backgrounds who provide client-centered support and assistance, utilizing Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT). We have all been trained by Marisa Peer and certified as RTT Hypnotherapists. We focus on helping our clients discover their inner power and confidence to realize their goals, and to sustain their focus on achieving success in whatever endeavor they choose.
