I was looking for a trainer for Nova my King Charles Cavalier. She is 18 months old and I’ve had her 4 months. She arrived with no training or experience walking with a harness and leash. We have had the pleasure of working with Steve for the last two weeks. Our dog Kona needed to learn some commands and refine some skills. Steve is beyond knowledgeable and patient. Kona has since learned come, leave it, stay, down and quiet. She is currently working on leash walking which is an actual skill to do it properly. Finding Steve has been a blessing! We rescued a 5 1/2 month old puppy and saying the first couple of weeks was chaos would be an understatement. After the first lesson we could see a change. We were having a few other issues in between lessons and I was able to text him some questions and send him videos of the issues and he responded immediately. He gave me a suggestion with the nipping and biting we hadn’t tried yet and BINGO it worked!!! I now have a puppy that listens to me. He loves when Steve comes and is always ready to work and learn. Steve makes the training fun for the dog and the owners lol! He involves my whole family so the training can be consistent.
