I see the photos of people with terrible port-wine birthmarks who seem to use this product perfectly. I don't have a problem in that order of magnitude. In my case it isn't that the discolorations are so dark, really they are not. The problem is bleed-through. Smart Cover, like every other product, allow the dark area to bleed through the product. I purchased the camouflage cream in neutral/light. It’s the perfect shade for my medium/fair skin. I use my fingers to apply. I focus around under eyes but not too close to my bottom lashes. After cleanse/tone/moisturize, I apply a primer gel, then a color corrector and then lightly dab on the Smart Cover. After, I apply very little concealer because the camouflage cream does a great job of covering up most of my dark circles. It doesn’t feel heavy or cakey. Nor does it empathize my fine lines. It’s important to find the right technique and not over add, to blend by lightly dabbing.
