Michael was very professional on the phone. I am not local and helping my elderly parents replace their garage door. I am based in DC and my parents are in Norfolk. Michael was very honest with me and even tried to fix the current door that was installed. Sadly that door was too big and did not fit correctly. He gave me a fair honest quote to get the door completed. Once the job is done I will review the service again. Able to get an appointment the same day, which was very much needed since my car was "captive" in my garage with a broken spring. Could not open garage door. Service men were professional and explained options for work needed. I asked questions, and answers/explanations were freely given. They arrived timely, with a call ahead of arriving. I am a first-time customer, finding Precision via Google, and when I went to Precision's website and saw the picture of the owners (looking very he said/she said), I literally laughed out loud and knew I had to call them. My issue wasn't urgent, just a small repair, but it's been a nuisance. Holly got me set up with someone TODAY! I was blown away. Then I got a text saying Beau was on his way, and when he got here, he was as professional as the rest of my experience. He fixed the issue quickly and gave me the opportunity to ask any questions I had, then he was on his way. I'll definitely not only call Precision next time I need garage door help, but I'll recommend them to anyone I know needing the same help. I was quite impressed with their service. I called on a Friday, and they offered to come out the next day, but I was committed that day. The estimate visit was scheduled for btn 8 - 10 on the following Monday. I rec'd a confirming email immediately. Rec'd a reminder email Sunday, and on Mon, rec'd a text at 8 am again confirming, and ending a picture and short related bio on the Tech coming. He arrived when scheduled with the necessary materials to replace the broken spring immediately. I have no idea what a fair price for this would be, but It felt fair to me, and I permitted him to proceed. He was efficient, polite, knowledgeable, The repair was completed and he was gone before 10 am. While I do hope never to need their service again, I would not hesitate to call them should the other garage door spring fail and I highly recommend this company. More...

Precision Door responded quickly to our concern, and the technician Justin was very polite and took the time to show us how to reprogram the automatic door opener should we experience a similar problem in the future. However, he was quick to add that we should give them a call anytime, because our door and opener is warrantied for life. Justin was great to work with. He had to order a belt for my door.The 1st one came in and had a manufacturers defect. Another was ordered. The office advised me on Monday it was in and he was here to install the new belt Monday afternoon. After installing the belt it was soon discovered the motor didn´t work. I was selling my home so I had to pause and decide what I wanted to do. I called them back the next evening to advise them. After asking a bunch of questions, I made my decision and Justin was out the next day to install a new motor, program the remotes and show me how all of it worked. The main spring on our large garage door snapped on a Saturday morning and as a result both cars were "trapped" in the garage. We contacted Precision and explained our predicament; their service desk was able to schedule an appointment the same at 10:00 AM. Beau (the technician) showed up promptly at 10:00 AM, surveyed the situation, and provided us with two solution scenarios (each priced).
