A few years ago I had MacLaren remodel my kitchen. They opened a wall, all new cabinetry, countertop, backsplash, and so on. Mary Skurecki was the designer who helped me design the kitchen and guided me through the selection process. I could not have done it without her help. John was the lead installer. He was so easy to work with and I have high praise for his workmanship. MacLaren has a nice showroom with a great selection of cabinets and countertops. I would highly recommend MacLaren. My husband and I were in the process of updating our entire home. We searched for the perfect countertops and island for our kitchen and vanity top for our master bathroom. We must have went to 15 different counter places until we found MacLaren. We met Michele and immediately fell in love with her! She showed us different samples, helped us come up with some creative ideas/layouts and we did not feel pressured the slightest bit. Not only were we in love with their selection, we ended up coming up with other projects around our house that we wanted to do as well because they had the perfect stone selection and we loved everything they had to offer. Not to mention they were right in our budget and prices were way lower than what we were quoted by other local companies. By the time we wrapped up our home renovations, we used Maclaren for our island, kitchen countertops, master vanity top, re-faced our fireplace and they designed a beautiful outdoor bar top for our deck. I met and worked with Michele and Jason when I was hired to update an office building in Media, PA. They had done work for some of the employees and owner and came highly recommmended for the office kitchen renovation. They were fabulous! At our first meeting I knew I was in good hands! As a designer, I was thrilled that Michele, with her design background and kitchen expertise, had great suggestions and created a perfect plan that worked exceptionally well with the rest of the renovation. I continue to use MacLaren for any project that requires cabinets or countertops! Their service and product offerings are outstanding and their pricing is fair! Everyone working there is incredibly customer focused--from sales to installers! They properly represent the timing required for order and installation too. My go to person there is Michele! No only does she have an incredible eye for design and color but more than that, she is personable, fun and extremely efficient and responsive. A few years ago, she was a huge help with my kitchen granite selection--I wanted a statement piece and she found it! I recently completed my master bath renovation and Michele was invaluable. She is incredibly detailed oriented and always asks about other components of the project (lighting, paint color, etc) to make sure the design is fully realized (outside of Maclaren's offerings). Quartz countertops in kitchen and powder room. Kitchen and powder room sink were also installed. Salesman Charlie was very helpful showing us the products and and in working up a bid for 3 differant produtes,2 quartz and one 1 granite. Templet tech Bill was prompt and thorough. Obviously, because the the Daltile quartz fit like a glove. Installer Rich did a masterful job as the seam is invisible. He and the two coworkers were punctual and cleaned the work area immaculately. MacLaren Kitchen just finished a complete kitchen renovation this month. I was extremely happy with the professional work done, the attention to detail and the timely manner in which the kitchen was completed.
From the start to the finish it has been seamless. Our designer, Mary Skurecki, was very easy to work with and very professional. The guys that installed the kitchen could not have been more pleasant to work with and were always willing to go the extra step to make sure that we were pleased with the job. We have had our new kitchen for almost a year now and let me tell you how wonderful of a job MacLaren did on it. Michele came to our house and she made our vision happen. We had our kitchen remodeled by MacLaren K&B. Everyone warned me that it would be a long, miserable and frustrating experience. I have to say it was anything but. From the designer to the installers, there was nothing but professionalism, creativity and efficiency. Actually, I was almost sorry to see them go. And they WILL come back if something happens after the job is done. I would highly recommend this company. Michelle and the entire Maclaren team were quintessential pros from start to finish of our kitchen and bath projects They consistently worked with us as well as with our GC to resolve concerns and execute a spectacular finished custom cabinet as well as mixed surface look in our new Malvern home. Our prominent new island with seating for six as well as ample work area and sink featuring an invisible seam and OGGI edge detail is the heart of our home. Our cabinet maker recommended MacLaren. They did an amazing job of helping us select our material. The finished job looked like a page from Architectural Digest.
All workers were very professional and left the job with no clean up for me.
I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
