What I love most about my job at Heide Contracting is the opportunity to transform spaces into dream homes. There's an undeniable thrill in tackling big, challenging projects that others might shy away from. Each project is a unique journey where I can apply my passion for maximizing space and craftsmanship. Seeing the joy and satisfaction in my clients' eyes when they see their revamped home – their forever home – is incredibly rewarding. What inspired you to start your own business?
My inspiration to start Heide Contracting came from a deep-rooted passion for construction and a desire to bring a touch of my Danish heritage into American homes. I saw a gap in the market for a contractor who doesn’t just do the job but takes on big, bold projects with a creative and innovative approach. There's a certain charm in Danish design – its simplicity, functionality, and beauty. I wanted to blend these elements with American architectural styles. Starting my own business was a way to take on this challenge head-on and offer something unique to people wanting to make their current home their forever home.
