We have just completed a substantial renovation of our vacation home, and we could not be more thrilled with the work of Richard Doyle and his excellent team. Our dated kitchen and master suite have been completely transformed, and the results are simply dazzling! The project also involved creating a new mudroom and laundry room, updating our foyer and great room, and renovating two smaller bathrooms. It was a pleasure to work with Richard and designer Amy Kruger, and we would not hesitate to hire them again for future projects. Richard is a man of integrity who takes great pride in everything he does, and he hires the best people to work with him. My 76 year old house had a tiny closet of a severely dated kitchen. Bryce and Dyle worked a magical one month renovation that transformed the entire heart of my home. Combining the little kitchen with an unused dining room, the new kitchen emerged as a completely modernized space, yet true to the original style and flavor of a 1940 bungalow. That's not an easy feat. Hardwood floors were seamlessly matched, white cabinets and pantry were custom built with gorgeous molding, and a super white granite diningtable was hand-built in a banquette to match the stunning countertops resembling Carerra marble.
During the four weeks it took to build my kitchen, I was hospitalized and subsequently recovered at home from major back surgery. Richard's team with Justin at the helm could not have been more courteous, accurate and prompt with every aspect of the job. Any addition or deletion we made while proceeding was immediately amended in writing and there were no surprises or hidden costs whatsoever. The job site was left clean and swept at the end of every work day. Amy and the Design team were really easy to work with and had lots of creative resources I pulled from.

Bryce and Doyle has significantly exceeded my expectations on every facet of our fireplace project. We gave them an inspiration photo and their design team came up with a concept that has fundamentally changed the way we utilize the space in our house. Their craftsmanship is second to none (and I have done enough major projects to know). Beyond that, they have a high level of integrity and can be trusted to deliver a finished product on budget and on time. And perhaps most important, they treated our home as if it was their own. Richard Doyle is wonderful to work with. We were in the midst of a bathroom remodel started by a different contractor. It had devolved to a total debacle. Richard was the only contractor who was willing to come in to this mess, and despite, his reservations, take it on and complete it -- all to our relief, and great satisfaction. He has a team of excellent people, especially his tile person. After the bathroom we went on to plan a kitchen remodel. Richard spent a lot of time with me planning the new kitchen and even though we ultimately decided to use our own vintage cabinets and do it mostly ourselves, he was always gracious. Richard Doyle and his team are great to work with. Richard also stands behind his work. His kitchen designer is fantastic and spent much time with us redesigning several options for our kitchen until the end result was perfect. We now have more countertop space, room to accomodate two people working at the same time, and plenty of storage cabinetry and drawers. She also helped us select the granite and cabinets/colors. Richard made beautiful countertops out of black walnut. His floor installer came up with a fantastic color for the hardwood and did a beautiful job of adding additional hardwood into the rest of the first floor. We ended up remodelilng the entire first floor, including a family room, media room , dining room, powder room, and laundry room. The overall kitchen design came out so well we had professional photographs taken by Byrce and Doyle to be entered into a Wolf-Subzero kitchen design competition. More...

Bryce and Doyle was a fabulous company to work with. Their commitment to quality workmanship and materials was clear from the start and inspired confidence. Everyone who worked on my kitchen was polite and considerate of our needs. The designer made herself available not only for the major design but even the smallest details (light fixtures, switch plates etc.) I had alot of difficulty choosing a wood floor that was neither too dark nor too light and within budget. Amy spent a lot of time with me and then without me looking for the perfect floor. Of course she was successful. Most impressive was Bryce and Doyle's ability to stay on time with the project and finish at the projected date. I have worked with Bryce and Doyle for over 20 years on numerous projects in my home and office, including an extensive kitchen remodel. From the design to the construction, every aspect of a project is given great detail and attention, and jobs are are completed A to Z without headache and in a timely fashion. We did a total kitchen remodel. From the start, Bryce and Doyle made our experience a absolute pleasure. Their designer, Amy Kruger, was professional and a joy to work with. Our former kitchen was not functional. Amy came up with a design that not only made our new kitchen completely functional, but she also added an assortment of ideas that made it aesthetically beautiful. The craftsmanship displayed by Bryce and Doyle was outstanding and their overall attention to the details was impressive. We love our new kitchen! We purchased our home knowing we had a big task in front of us. Bryce and Doyle made that a much easier process for us! I've known Richard and Tom for 8 years and I have always admired the quality of their work and the cool concepts they come up with. The first time Rich walked through the house I was in full demo mode, and he told me "slow down, don't make your decisions in a vacuum". That advise would pay dividends down the road for me. Enter Amy Kruger! We had a wide open kitchen, dining room, family room almost too much space. Amy's vision blew my wife and I away. We came away with a kitchen that is the focal point of the home, a soreley needed mud room off of the garage, and a awesome fireplace that is a real conversation piece, additionally subtle hints here and there that gave us alot of great ideas we carried forward. When it came to picking out our cabinets they had an extensive selection. Richard and Amy pointed out the pros and the cons, gave us history on the manufacturers, and let us know just because the cabinet is expensive doesn't mean it's the best or the right one for you. Amy's advice was simple "give me your wish list, your dream kitchen and we'll work from there". Once the design was finished it took about a month for the cabinets to show up. Tommy K the master craftsman and capenter extrodinaire set the kitchen including the appliances in about 2 days, bear in mind we converted from Electric to Natural Gas and moved everything around. The template was made for the granite and the stone was install 2 weeks later. The tile backsplash went on, Tommy trimmed it out and we were done. There isn't anything that B&D doesn't think of, there is always 3 to 4 sets of eyes on every detail and nothing gets missed. I would highly recommend them for any project you have in mind!
