My name is Kyle, and I’ve been making Lebanese grape leaves, or as we call it, yubra, since I was a little girl. My Sitti (Arabic for grandmother) taught me her skills, and I’ve kept her family cookbook as an heirloom, adjusting my recipe over the years to perfection. My recipe dates back to the early 1900s when my ancestors arrived in the U.S. and continues to be a staple for all of our holiday and special event meals.
