As a Haitian American, she provided a menu that was quite appeasing to my personal food aesthetics and comforts; all the while, she kept in mind the culturally diverse list of attendees at my event. The food menu was a mix of tried and true Carribean flavors and cuisine that was paired with a fusion of American comfort food. The food was definitely a positive take away from the event. People wanted to know who was responsible for the food.
