A division of Livingston Bagel, Livingston Caterers has always enjoyed strong ties to our community and customers. From Livingston Bagels humble beginning as a small mom and pop bagel shop, we know first-hand which of our beloved recipes have become the favorites amongst our customers – from our sandwiches to fine dining courses. Over the years the love of our food has grown to requests for catering, beginning with smaller corporate lunch orders and soon becoming family gatherings and celebrations to large-scale lavish events.

There are 2 reasons I love this place... Bagels and Knishes! As far as I'm concerned you haven't had a great Knish until you try theirs. On a scale of 1 to 10 their Knishes are 11! Forget the fried street Knishes or the boring baked ones you normally get. Besides a classic filling it's the pastry wrapping that sets these gems apart. My only criticism is their pastrami. This is one place you must ask for lean.

Eight Hills Caterers & Lakeside Deli offers a variety of delicious food both for your dine in and catering experience. From our famous Sloppy Joe sandwiches, to our salads, to our scrumptious entrees such as Chicken Eight Hills with Roasted Potatoes to our popular Penne Vodka or Rigatoni Italiano. To add an additional flair to our pasta favorites we can include chicken or shrimp.

The Ridgedale Diner Restaurant doesn't look like a stereotypical stand-alone style diner but once inside it has the booths, tables, home-cooked style food and courtesy you would expect to find in a standard NJ diner. There seems to be three types of "Diner" restaurants these days. The first tries to be a Diner and calls itself one but is actually a fancy restaurant with prices that are higher than a diner and good that has too many bells and whistles to be a traditional NJ diner. The second is a true diner that gives you homecooked style american quisine at all hours of the nice if you are lucky, and for a reasonable price that is lower than a steakhouse or fine restaurant but higher than a fast food place. In NJ you should expect it to serve a Roast Turkey based meal costarring mashed potatos and other thanks-giving like sides. ANother popular at the second type of diner is a menu of open faced sandwiches such as roast-beef. The third type is less of a diner and more of a sandwich shop for the lunch and breakfast crowd. It is open, but never at night. It serves burgers, grilled chese, maybe a soup or two, and various kinds of french fries. There will usually be a stab at some other foods you can't get in a Mc Donald's, but you wouldn't want to order those in a place like this. As examples, "Tops Diner" is diner type 1, "The Ridgedale Diner Restaurant" is number 2, and "The Bendix Diner" is type three. The only thing about the Ridgedale Diner that doesn't fit this accolade is the fact that it closes at night. I highly recommend it for the kind of "decent" and standard food you may have eaten at home if an american household as a child from a family that has develped here for generations eating american quisine.

I LOVED THE PLACE. I had Avocado toast with poached eggs and hummus. Customer service was outstanding, food was excellent. I liked that They let me add hummus to my toast, not a lot of places allow to make that kind of modifications.I have to be back for the Protein Waffles... So healthy and delicious.
