Great food, great deli. I go to Billingsgate at least once a month to get my favorite sandwich "The New Yorker" - heated. The melted cheese with the cold Carolina coleslaw on top makes the sandwich. Â They have a small counter where you can read the paper (conveniently tacked on the wall) and a few tables to sit with friends. Â Try it out - you can't go wrong !

Newton folks RAVED about this place when it first opened so we checked it out at that time. It wasn't bad...but it felt like decently prepared Thai food that you can get in many takeout places nearby but at an exorbitant price. I rarely trust Newton folks on reviews of any type of foreign cuisine....and that experience solidified my feelings. Flash forward to mid 2020 during COVID. Decided to give them another chance as they've been open for a while now. I was impressed. Really enjoyed the dishes we ordered and feel like the quality (and quantity) was proportionate to the price. Â It is still your basic Thai cuisine but solid. If you are looking for more authentic Southeast Asian food..Manow Kitchen just a few blocks away is the real deal best option. But I salute Four Spoons for their menu and improvement.
