Find a Caterer in Hampton

WOW. I had heard so many great things about this place, but nothing could have prepared me for the delicious high quality food and the New England charm with which they serve and handle business. I am from outside Boston - I know the best of this food - and this place nails it! It was a breeze communicating and organizing our wedding clambake with Deke, and I still can't believe how reasonable their prices are! Thank you so much for our delicious and unforgettable wedding dinner!!

Very cute restaurant! We stopped because it looked adorable on the outside and the inside is just as quaint. The butter for the rolls is infused with maple and oh my gosh was it amazing. Not overly sweet, just enough for taste. I ordered clam chowder which was very good! Tons of flavor and super creamy. I also ordered a salad which again had a ton of flavor. Everything on the plate was super fresh which is sometimes hard to find. My husband ordered the surf and turf burger which was also very good! Overall, I would highly recommend. Also, staff was super friendly and helpful!

Went here for lunch with my husband and his family, and it was the perfect place for such a nice little get-to-gether. The Old Salt is right in Hampton's downtown, and large windows provide a nice street view of some of the older buildings. The decor has warmth; real fireplaces are roaring, and the dark wooden walls, exposed beams and captain's chairs give it a rustic New England charm, part Old-School, part Seaside. What I could not get over was how many rooms there were; 2 large seating rooms, plus a  "tea room", plus a bar room! Their menu was extensive and fairly priced; the "baked onion soup" I had was good, and I had a hard time deciding between all their salads, sandwiches, soups, entrees, seafood, and everything else. They can easily encompass soup and salad "light" meals as well as fried seafood cravings, and their specials during the week look extraordinarily good. It's a great little place that I'd love to visit again.__________*Update*___________Went back again and had the chicken tenders...good and average, but the martini my sister-in-law had tasted literally like a plastic doll's head. I remember from childhood. It was a raspberry & chocolate martini, but the chocolate was all separated from the insane amount of vodka. Also, the coleslaw tasted like the plastic bag it had been stored in--way beyond fresh. I'm keeping 4 stars as I really do like the place, but I hope their drinks and condiments improve the next time I go.
