I have been planning since I was in college and I love to travel, which opened up my eyes to the different cuisines. From working in this industry, I really got to make some great relationships with personal chefs and my family is in the restaurant/catering industry, so I was able to combine events and catering together into my business, which I love!! Meeting new people as well and the fact that not one event is the same is also what makes this exciting!
We really take the time to get to know you, your event and what you like. Even if we are just providing catering services, we want to make sure the menu fits your guests and your taste. Food is very important to an event and that is what people remember the most! Our food is home cooked, flavorful and artsy. We like to get creative if there is a special theme attached to an event, for example: a sweet 16 or bat/bar mitzvah. Our food appeals to children, teens and adults. We also offer vegan, vegetarian, Kosher, Halal and GF!
One thing that people have noticed about SYB Events and Catering is, our staff can help with whatever set up you need. If you want us to set the cocktail tables, linens, tables, etc. We can do that. We also provide rentals: chairs, tables, linens...We really want to make this a comfortable and easy process for you. We also just do not stay 4-5 hours at an event because we know between set up, the event and clean up, that is not enough time.
