Ardon Vinyl is my faaaavorite place to get my vinyl cuts done, at the best prices. Sure they don't have a gigantic space like kinkos, but this place is for vinyl cutting, not making copies.I've been going here for many, many years, and I have yet to be quoted on a place that can do cheaper work, and have as quick turnaround. Five stars alone for this.Make sure you call before you pick up just to make sure the vinyl is weeded (clears out the excess vinyl), and you'll be good to go.

I am thrilled to have found a great jeweler! Vladimir is talented and creative and skilled. I did not want to bring my favorite treasures to chain-mall repair techs, I wanted a professional craftsman and that's what I found, thanks to all of the reviewers here. One item that I brought to him was a name-plate necklace that has sentimental value and I still wear all the time. I didn't like how it would always hang off-center, and Vladimir pointed out that it was because the name-plate was fixed on the chain at both ends instead of being on a slide. So, he soldered little loops on the back and rejoined the chain into a whole piece. The name always sits at center now and his welds were soo tiny and neat that the whole piece looks beautiful. I would not hesitate to bring anything to GVS and ohh I can't wait to do a little shopping in his store!

Maria's work is incredible. She did my programs for my wedding - this was for a Greek Orthodox wedding. Since there were many non-Greek, non-Orthodox family members, i wanted to include detail about the ceremony to explain what each piece represented. My programs were easily 10+ pages. Maria was the first person I reached out to because I have seen what she can do. They were stunning and everyone commented on how beautiful they were. She was very responsive during our communication. She was extremely detailed and ensured each page flowed to the next and made sense. She provided her own suggestions/guidance on how to best create the product i was looking for. I am so grateful for her time and generosity! Thanks again for creating a piece of my special day, Maria!

As someone who does rural organizing work in the south & Appalachia, it's seldom we meet people in the Northeast who are willing to not only listen to our stories, but who fundamentally believe in us and connect us to the people and resources to keep our movements going. Robin and the team she brings really gets it, and sees the impact and value of community centered, grassroots work. Her humor, attention to detail, and understanding of the difficult intersections we do our work in are invaluable. Side note--she really knows a lot about actual kayaking too and will help you get into the sport

emdesign has more than 20 years of experience working for entities large and small, corporate and nonprofit. We began in 1993 with the humble notion that great visual communications can be produced in a small, efficient studio setting, where each client benefits from close, personal attention. With eyes set on using those ideals to identify and cull new clients, emdesign has thrived. To this day, our strength lies in that attention, loyalty, relationship-building, and the enthusiastic recognition that each assignment presents a unique set of challenges and problems to be solved. Never satisfied until you are, we take great pride in being an advocate for each client, adapting to specific budgetary concerns when appropriate, and remaining accessible to you throughout the process. To see specific examples of our work, select from the menus on our web page (http://emdesigninc.com). emdesign’s founder Michael Mauceri is an experienced design professional, having enjoyed a 30+ year career as a self-motivated graphic artist/designer, comfortably working solo or as a team player within an established group. Michael is adept at taking on projects from concept through completion, problem-solving and working with others to help realize a common vision. He loves working with type and image and very much enjoys the process of building a brand for both online and print campaigns. He is particularly effective at translating client ideas into creative concepts that communicate clear messages.
Problem-solving. It can be rather magical when it happens and the process is exciting to me. Of course, I love the nuts-and-bolts of what I do, too, working with type and image, color, the pacing of turning pages, whether those are paper or digital, engaging in the creative process. And, the a-ha! moments when something *new* is suddenly on the page.
Before starting on my own, I loved the customer service piece of what I did, the solving of peoples' problems, but I knew that my efforts were often lost in the clutter of a large-ish design firm. I did the work, the client paid my bosses and, at the end of the week, I got a check. It was all rather impersonal. I knew I could do it better if I was my own boss. I could work longer hours when needed without wasting time in traffic or chatting at the water cooler. I wanted to choose my own hours, too, on my own terms.
Access. I am available to them, 24/7 if needed, and they'll love the personal attention they get. With a simple email, phone call or text message, I'm right there for my clients. And, of course, I'm awesome! Competent, creative, and accessible.
