There's really no accurate way to say in a review just how much i am greatful for the freedom and security ive gained having Colby spend time with Nick he's known sand worked getting him prepared for service work. Being in a wheelchair makes things a challenge my puppy brings me things picks stuff up when I drop it guids my chair when I can't push when i can he is right there and I wouldn't have the abilities and possibilities open to me now if not for him You can see all the lives he's changed for the best on his media. ***** great dog trainer. I have a black mouth mountain kur/lab mix. Overactive, overly excited, jumper, pulled on leash when we walked. . very strong 70#dog. Nick had him walking nice in a very short time. No more jumping on people when they come to visit. No more jumping on the fence after other dogs in our backyard. He is amazing. Nick helped us with Bruno and Emma. Bruno is just an unruly adolescent in much need of structure. Emma, on the other hand is our almost perfect rescue. We don’t know what happened in that first year of her life before we adopted her, but she probably had no contact with other dogs and wasn’t easy for me to try to socialize her. We had tried training our golden retriever/German shepherd as a puppy. We enrolled her in some group classes, but they just didn’t do the trick. By the time she was fully grown, she had become a hyper girl who had developed some bad habits, such as intense leash pulling, jumping on guests at the door to say hi, and some other unwanted behaviors. She was strong and hard to hold back, so we didn’t take her out as much as we wanted for walks and adventures.

Then, I stumbled across an ad for Nick's Dog Training and decided to give him a call. We are so glad we did! Luna is now able to follow our directions and commands with ease, and she has learned that her good behavior has allowed her to join us on more adventures! Nick has been a blessing for our family. After only 5 weeks he was able to train our 15 month old pitbull. Our pup no longer jumps on people or pulls when walking. Nick performed a miracle with my dog Bennie. Unfortunately Bennie had serious behavioral issues that we couldn’t take him to groomers, veterinary or have him boarded when we take trips. We were at our wits end and didn’t know what to do. We love Bennie and didn't want to give him up. Luckily a neighbor referred me to Nick. He was patient and terrific with Bennie. After 5 sessions Bennie’s behavior improved dramatically that he became more social with people, the excessive barking and pulling on the leash stopped and eventually he was able to be groomed by a regular groomer. I have nothing but positive things to say about the training received from Nick.
My Walter is a very reactive dog. He barks and becomes aggressive whenever anyone or any other dogs are in the vicinity. He jumps at the doors and windows and barks loudly whenever he sees someone else outside. Nick helped us shut down this behavior almost immediately.
He is also a playful puppy and likes to jump up on company and inside visitors. He doesn't know his own strength or size at 80 pounds. This is also a behavior we immediately worked on and were able to correct quickly.
Leash walking and pulling were also things we worked on, related to his reactivity. And while we are still working together on this issue, it is 100% better than when we started. Walter is still learning to walk "in heel" (I'm learning too) but is amazing with loose leash walking. His reactivity is also so much more controlled.
Nick is patient and kind. He not only helped my Walter, he helped and instructed me immensely with my anxiety with this reactivity. I was afraid to walk my dog, afraid he would injure me with his strength, afraid he wouldn't listen or he would react negatively to others. I am no longer afraid and my relationship with Walter has improved beyond being just a mom dog inside the house.
I know that Walter and Istill have work to do together, but Nick helped lay a strong foundation for us to build upon. More...

our one year old heeler was reactive and pulling outdoors. Just a few weeks with nick and his guidance ans zuko walks well outdoors (on and off leash) and is good at ignoring outdoor stimulants that he used to be so reactive too!!! thanks nick!!!

Nick completely changed my dog Hanks quality of life and my anxiety level!!!
Prior to Nick's training I was literally too anxious to take Hank around the block or anywhere else for that matter.
Since completing the training (which was very quick) I take Hank almost everywhere with me. He is a completely different dog!
My daughter thought I was crazy for hiring a trainer. But when we went out of town and Hank was swimming and having a blast with the kids , she looked at me and said "the training was worth every penny!"

Nick was awesome he got my gsd past her fears and taught mr to help her past them. She walks so much better... no reactions to noises. She just passed her GCC and GMC tests and now she is going for therapy certification. I can't recommend Nick enough for helping to make my dreams feasible!

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Nick’s Dog Training for teaching us how to have the best dog. The early days of Turtle at our house was not pleasant. For examples see the first two videos. Demand barking, constant nipping, jumping…I’m pretty sure Kacper and I still have battle wounds. After one evening of pure torment at the paws of Turtle I found Nick’s. He literally called me two minutes after I put in the request. After the first training session Nick had given us the tools to show Turtle how to behave. Turtle has now been to Honey Hut and Home Depot! Today was our last session with Nick and Turtle excelled off leash! We met with Nick for help with our skiddish 3 yr old GSD. His mode of training relieved her of her fear of wheeled things - she would bolt in public from walkers strollers and the like. That is no longer an issue due to his creative training now she can go confidently in public places where she will encounter those things. She went from a lazy heel walker to an off leash stay with me right past the deer tonight. Nick has given us the confidence as older owners of a GSD to have best experience. Lady loved Nick and both of us would highly recommend him for whatever breed you have. I now have a GSD i feel confident moving on to Service Training/Good Citizen.

Working with Nick's Dog Training was a Great experience. He taught my husband and I and our dog Rhiannon everything we asked him to teach us. I couldn't take Rhiannon for walks cause she would bark at every dog or person but after working with Nick I am able to walk her without her barking at anything. I contacted Nick for our 2 yr old Cavapoo, Rusty. Although he knew several commands, I needed Rusty to obey immediately! I am very pleased with the results. We use to be afraid to be around our dog Millie and didn’t think anything could help fix her behavior. We ended up doing a last chance search of dog trainers in the area and Nick was the first one to pop up. Over the course of our time with Nick, Millie has completely changed for the better. We feel so bonded with Millie after we do daily training exercises that Nick instructed us to work on. She has become so obedient and receptive. Her and her dog sister no longer get in fights. Working with Nick has been a life-changing experience. We adopted Pam, a golden retriever, from a mill rescue situation. She was absolutely terrified of everything, even us. We had to pick her up to take her outside to go to the bathroom, literally carry her outside. Now we are taking her on walks in the neighborhood; which I never thought would be possible. And she is responsive to going to the door by command, which I also didn’t think would be possible. She is starting to become the dog she was meant to be. She is sniffing around the yard. Working with Nick has been a life-changing experience. We adopted Pam, a golden retriever, from a mill rescue situation. She was absolutely terrified of everything, even us. We had to pick her up to take her outside to go to the bathroom, literally carry her outside. Now we are taking her on walks in the neighborhood; which I never thought would be possible. And she is responsive to going to the door by command, which I also didn’t think would be possible. She is starting to become the dog she was meant to be. She is sniffing around the yard. Her tail is up! And she is becoming more confident! She is so less fearful, and it’s probably just the most amazing change I’ve ever seen. The transformation of this beautiful dog over the last five weeks has given us so much hope and her continuing journey on living a better life. This would not have been possible without Nick helping us. The education that he’s provided us has been instrumental in making her feel safe and feel like she can break out of her nervous and scared shell that she was living in. If you ever need someone to help with anything training related for a dog at any stage of their life, Nick is your guy! He’s always on time, commutative, thoughtful, and a truly kind person. Nick was amazing!! Pennie, AKA the “Wild Banshee”, needed some help calming down as a 1 year old puppy. She was already a bit stuck in her ways but Nick was able to help us overcome her stubbornness. Most importantly I needed to get her to be able to walk calmly on a leash so my mom could walk her without risk of falling. SUCCESS!! We go to the park and she can play off leash and she doesn’t jump on people when they walk in the house any longer! He has also always been available when I had questions between lessons to talk me through some challenges I faced as Pennie learned the “training game”. Thank you Nick! More...

Very satisfied. I had never trained a dog at this level. I highly recommend Nick’s dog training. Not only was Nick really knowledgeable and patient with my Goldendoodle, he was also very helpful to me. We did the training at my house, he was always on time, professional and courteous!
