Chris is a knowledgeable and personable trainer. As a non-athletic person, I was really nervous about starting an exercise program but Chris quickly put me at ease. He is always positive and encouraging. Chris responds quickly to any signs of pain and is able to immediately adjust exercises and he also makes sure to correct my form if it may lead to injury. I have been working with Chris for almost a year and have had no injuries or pain issues (besides the expected muscle soreness, of course). How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
We start by assessing the clients abilities, addressing anything that could hinder progress, and create a plan based on those factors. We set the foundation within the first two weeks of training and increase intensity as pain decreases and the clients ability increases. Technique is everything at the beginning and makes up the core of the foundation, so that is the primary focus at the start.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
There is no secret. You get out of training what you put into training. The one thing I always tell my clients is that this "dream body" doesn't come easily or quickly if done correctly and patience is a requisite to accomplishing fitness goals. Follow the programming, treat your body well outside of training, and the rest will come.
What do you love most about your job?
During my tenure I have seen so many people with aches, pains and motivational blockades. Through my experience with these clients, I've helped them over these hurdles. Seeing someone either meet a long-term goal, or seeing them get out of the cycle of chronic pain is a rewarding experience for me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The gym I worked for in Vancouver, Washington recently closed and forced everyone who worked there to find new opportunities. I enjoyed my time there, but I realized my full potential was in going out on my own. My clients were left out to dry and so was I. I do not want them or I to ever be put in a position like that again, so I am taking more control and responsibility for my clients training and my well-being.

I focus on both acute and chronic issues. I have a wealth of knowledge in the area of pain management and rebuilding confidence. Not only will you find that training with me can create accountability and consistency, I will help you reach fitness goals pain-free. I have worked with physical therapists and studied closely with practitioners in the SW Washington and Portland area. I have also worked along side some of the very best personal trainers with 8+ years of experience.

I do provide online programming and I do check-ins. However, I do not provide training over webcam.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The gym is located at my residence; equipment is cleaned between clients and there is minimal contact from client to client between sessions.
Online personal training
2-3 day per week programming for fitness goal. 1 time weekly meeting to establish goals or check in on progress.
In-person personal training
We offer a variety of auto-pay plans to service your goal ranging from 1 hr. per week to 5 hr. per week. Our training takes place in a renovated 3 car garage, stacked with all the equipment necessary to meet your fitness goals.
