It’s been my career path from a pretty young age! I loved art at school and was in a great position to see how design on the internet changed every year. It was a pretty natural progression to study design at university and become a designer. I don’t think any one thing inspired me, I just find it really interesting.
We’re specialists in tech startups. All three of us in the team have worked for high growth startups, so we wanted to make sure that we used our expertise in this sector. The great thing is that they are usually more receptive to new ideas or design styles compared with ‘older’ industries I suppose. Over the past 4 months, we have worked with Make My Website to rebuild our site from scratch. From day one, the experience of working with them was an absolute pleasure. After having done some detailed research into the best web developers in Melbourne, it became clear to us that Make My Website was the right choice for us. During the very first phone call, director Mayank was completely transparent and very giving with his time. We spent over an hour on the phone, more time than any of the other web developers were willing to give us. The quote that Mayank provided was by far the cheapest out of all the web developers that got back to us. We wanted to be certain that Make My Website was a legitimate business, so we visited their impressive office in the CBD and were completely taken aback by the professionalism of the entire office space (not to mention the incredible view overseeing Albert Park Lake). Mayank was kind enough to give us a tour of the office and he introduced us to his wife who works there. Mayank explained that his business is family-run and that he has 18 employees that work for him. It became very clear to us that Mayank and his team take great pride in their work. Seeing how genuine Mayank was and how interested he became in our website confirmed that Make My Website was the right web developer for us. Once signing a contract with Mayank, he assigned his loyal employee, Kiran, to the task of building our website, while he oversaw the entire process. He gave me his personal number and told me "I'm always available." The care and attention to detail that Kiran put into our website was beyond anything we could have asked for. She responded to all of our queries in a very timely manner and was always open to feedback we gave her in regards to the design of the website. Being a content-based website, there were many revisions we asked Kiran and Mayank to carry out and never once did they refuse. They kept working on the website until we were 100% happy. If there was a question they couldn't answer on the spot, they would carry out research and then get back to us with the answer. Once the website was complete, Mayank and Kiran invited us back to their office so they could provide us with training on how to upload content to the site. This was all provided at no extra cost. Make My Website are now in charge of our website hosting and the ongoing monthly maintenance, an arrangement which Mayank has offered to us for a very reasonable price. Our advice to any business or individual who is looking to build a website, or redesign their current one, is to give Make My Website a phone call and discuss your vision with them. Then take some time to research and call other web developers in Melbourne to see what they offer. You will quickly learn that the integrity of Make My Website outshines any of their competitors.
