I am a registered Psychotherapist with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and am accredited with the International Holistic Medicine Practitioners (IPHM). Using integrative approaches I often incorporate talking therapy with embodiment, creative and experiential practices. Online therapy doesn't impede our ability to do art therapy or experiential work. I believe therapy can deeply enrich our lives and that we are more likely to successfully integrate meaningful changes with facilitation and support in our corner.

I have been seeing Leanne for 3+ months, and I would truly recommend her therapy sessions. From the very first session, I felt comfortable to talk about anything. Her understanding and insightful approach has created a place for me to explore my thoughts and feelings without feeling judged. Leanne has an incredible talent for asking the right questions, which has helped me gain clarity on issues I’ve been struggling with. She offer practical tools and techniques that I can easily apply in my everyday life, making our sessions both meaningful and actionable. I truly appreciate her professionalism and commitment to my healing process and sustaining it in the future.

I combine physical mental and emotional modalities to help resolve issues. We all have blockages that prevent us from achieving our goals, by accessing multiple modalities we can achieve change faster and more completely. We tend to hold stress, anxiety, negative emotion within the body, as such we can use the body to access these negative states, by combining physical connection and awareness with mental techniques we begin to eliminate them.
T.H.E. Psyborg delivers mental health services via phone, video, and in-person, to people aged 16 and up, all across Australia, and we treat conditions such as chronic pain, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and more. Generally, we use an approach called Compassion Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CF-CBT). This makes for a very personalised therapeutic experience wherein we'll help you understand your how and why in order to change them. We don't think mental health challenges are your fault but if you are seeking supporting then we can help you take responsibility and, ultimately, control. You are welcome to explore my website - thepsyb.org if you want to see my availabilites or get more info.
I get to help people thrive, heal, and evolve (T.H.E.). It is an honour to be of service and seeing people's live turn around in just a few weeks is amazing.
There are many archaic systems, practices, and mindsets in the mental health space. It is changing, slowly. I want to give people a modern mindset and a modern, evidence-based practice which is what I am doing.
I have found a great balance between the art and science of therapy. What I mean by this is I use evidence-based practice to ensure the work that we do helps you move from surviving to thriving but it is not always obvious that I am doing it. Despite this, you won't necessarily realise this is happening as it just feels like a conversation for the most part. When we do the psychometric measures, you'll be able to see your progress over time.
Absolutely - I've only recently got a physical space so most of my work has been via teletherapy. I have a private, quiet space for my side of things and encourage you to have the same so we can work as if we were in the same place.
We sit quite far apart in person, and I offer my services via teletherapy if you need it.
