When I begin working with you as a new client, it's likely you are experiencing some big things in your life. This can be quite distressing and painful. As we spend time together I work hard to create a space where you can explore those big feelings safely and gently. I love watching you find more peace and calm in your life, develop confidence in using new skills and become more certain about who you are as a person. I love seeing your transformation.
I have held several work roles as an employee over the years. The most notable of these has been in teaching and the community services sector at Not for Profit organisations. These positions had rules to follow and restricted me from doing the kind of therapy I wanted to do. So many of my clients left my office without the support they needed as our service either provided a limited number of sessions or focused on only one area of need.
I decided to start my own business so I could provide the therapy you need - in-depth, long-term and trauma-focused healing.
I work hard with you to co-create a nurturing, gentle space in which you can feel completely safe. I gently invite you to bring your issues, pain and distress, so that together, we can explore the issues you'd like to work through. My focus is to support you in the way you need and at your own pace. I use a body-focused, trauma-focused approach, which supports your body to resolve life experiences that have left you feeling significant pain and distress.
My sessions with you are held primarily online via Zoom. When you book you'll receive an email with a zoom link, which you can access on your computer, phone or tablet. Alternatively, we can do sessions through Skype or phone, whichever is most convenient for you.
My sessions with you are held primarily online, via Zoom (or Skype), so COVID-19 restrictions do not apply.
