What I love most about running my music business is the opportunity to share the joy of music with others. It’s incredibly rewarding to see students of all ages and backgrounds progress, develop their skills, and find their own passion for music. Being able to create a welcoming and supportive environment where people can express themselves and grow through music is very fulfilling. Plus, the location near Mount Waverley train station in a busy shopping district allows for a vibrant and accessible space for the community to come together.
The inspiration to start my own music school came from a deep passion for music and a desire to create a space where people can explore and grow their musical talents. Having studied at Huagang Art School and gained years of experience in various roles, I felt that I could bring a unique perspective to teaching and managing a music-focused environment. I wanted to create a studio without grade restrictions, making it accessible for everyone—from beginners to advanced musicians. Additionally, the idea of contributing to the local community around Mount Waverley, where there’s a vibrant energy, inspired me to establish a space that’s not only about learning but also about fostering a love for music.
Clients should choose my music class because we prioritize a personalized and welcoming experience for every student. With no grade restrictions, we tailor lessons to fit each individual’s skill level and musical interests, making it accessible for beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced musicians alike. My background from Huagang Art School and extensive experience in managing and teaching means that I bring both technical expertise and a deep understanding of how to create a positive learning environment. Additionally, our location in a bustling shopping district near Mount Waverley train station makes us a convenient and vibrant choice for students. We are dedicated to helping clients achieve their musical goals and ensuring their journey is both enjoyable and fulfilling.
To keep our customers safe during Covid-19, we implemented several safety measures at the music class:
1. Enhanced Cleaning: We conduct regular cleaning and sanitization of all common areas, instruments, and equipment before and after each session.
2. Hand Sanitizer Stations: Hand sanitizer is available throughout the studio, particularly at the entrance and in each teaching room, encouraging students to use it before and after their lessons.
3. Social Distancing: In-person sessions are designed to maintain safe distances between instructors and students. We’ve adjusted the layout of our teaching rooms to ensure enough space for everyone.
4. Hybrid and Online Lessons: For those who prefer to learn from home, we continue to offer online lessons, providing the same personalized instruction remotely.
5. Mask Policy: We encourage wearing masks during in-person lessons, especially in shared spaces, to add an extra layer of protection.
6. Health Checks: We ask that anyone feeling unwell or showing symptoms reschedule their in-person session or switch to a virtual lesson to ensure the well-being of everyone in the studio.
These adjustments have allowed us to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment while continuing to share the joy of music.
