What inspired you to start your own business?

Long wait times in the mainstream services, and in my area they are limited counselling services yet the demand is high especially post COVID pandemic. Caused huge high levels of anxiety in young people and an increase in domestic violence which is resulting in relationships breakdown, family and domestic violence and job losses

Why should our clients choose you?

Salome is a qualified clinical supervisor, counselling psychologist, Train the Trainer, family therapist and training consultant. With more than 16 years’ experience under her belt, Salome is fuelled by passion to develop unique ways of understanding how we think, what we feel and why we behave as we do.
Salome has worked in a range of state government and public sector roles in addition to independent practice as a clinician, manager and supervisor and training consultant. Salome also provides individual professional coaching, mentoring and debriefing and utilises cognitive mindfulness based strategies to empower and facilitate rapid personal, professional and organisational change.
Salome works with individuals and organisations specialising in drug and alcohol. Torture and trauma, mental health, wellbeing and happiness. As such, she has also developed unique training packages for leadership development, team building, conflict resolution, effective communication, working with refugees and asylum seekers, compassionate fatigue, cultural competence, facilitating groups with people from CaLD background, working with refugees and asylum seekers students and managing change.
Salome personal style is warm, engaging and passionate and builds upon her significant academic qualifications in counselling psychology and trauma informed practice. Salome is acknowledged in the therapeutic field as a lead clinician and trainer in solution focused and competency based approaches, and integrates these ideas into her every day world to help build and maintain work and life balance.
