Let me sum up: From our initial meeting in a cafe to the final run through meeting, it felt as if we had been friends with Joelie Croser for years. We knew we were in experienced hands and our truly bespoke ceremony was beyond sublime. What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
How do you envisage the feel of your event? That's the number one point to cover as it's a tender balance between being overly friendly (but not having known you for long), versus not sounding like you at all. It's pivotal that everything I say at your event lands well for you and your guests, so harnessing the tone of the day sets that on the right track from the get-go.
What do you love most about your job?
You! Seriously, the thing I love the most are the stories you bring. Gathering the details and weaving them into a personally tailored narrative that delights both you and your guests alike. My love affair with human stories and connections are why I do this work.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always held a deep interest in the 'transitions' of life. I work in the fields of birth, death and marriages and storytelling runs in my blood.
