Are you tired of struggling with anxiety, depression, shame, and anger? Do you feel stuck and unfulfilled? Learn how to break long-held habit-patterns and set and reach new goals for yourself. Let me teach you how to change your thinking and transform negative self-talk and mental states and transmute self-loathing to love. The results dramatically reduce destructive emotions (anxiety, depression, shame, and anger) while increasing self-esteem and ease. We will focus on current behaviors that hold you back in weekly one-on-one sessions. My approach, unlike standard therapy, steers clear of focusing on the past. Short-term treatment includes highly effective and proven modalities; Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness & Meditation. Our work together will be results oriented. Between session practice and daily interaction expedite progress. I work with teens 16 and up, adults and seniors. I am deeply compassionate, supportive and respectful. The foundation of our work together is built on acceptance and loving-kindness. I will "hold" your hand and encourage you as needed. I would be honored to journey with you. I am available via online video, phone, and in-person.
I love what I do. It is so rewarding to watch people get happier in a short period of time. The combination of the modalities that I use are highly effective, and I am grateful that I can bring my passion for mindfulness and meditation to my work and help people stop suffering.
I was classically trained, but I always felt that something was missing in the work. I do not believe in diagnosing as I focus on my client's potential and strengths. In general, standard therapy focuses on the past. I found that type of work fuels the old neural pathways and often has people leaving a session feeling worse. I focus on current behaviors and results. I have trained for over 10 -years in mindfulness & meditation and currently teach at Mindfulness Meditation Centers. I started my own practice, so I could work in a way that was in alignment with my beliefs.
I offer positive results in a short period of time. I focus on current behaviors and help clients break long-held habit patterns and develop new neural pathways. I use an incredible program that in just 90-days dramatically reduces anxiety, depression, anger, guilt, and shame. I am deeply compassionate and devote myself to each client to help them reduce their destructive emotions and meet new goals.

Reese is a great coach. She gives tools to create change and not just feedback. I’ve been doing so much better with her pragmatic, action-oriented coaching. Thank you kindly.

Dr Reese has made a big difference since my furbaby died. To some it will sound stupid but this grief was killing me slowly. Most don’t understand pet grief but Dr Reese does. Thank you.

Working with Phil helped us fix our marriage and we haven’t been this happy together in years. He knows how to moderate the sessions in a way that we both felt heard and understood and gave us helpful insights into what we both needed to change to heal the broken parts of our love.

How much do Therapists cost?
This will vary according to the level of experience and training that the therapist holds.
This will depend on where you live, what level of training your therapist has and what they specialise in (whether they are a counsellor, psychotherapist or psychologist) and also how many years of working experience they have.
Your professional therapist will be able to advise you on the full range of therapies available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted therapist today.
How do I find the right Therapist?
You need to devote some time to finding the right therapist as the connection you have with your therapist is essential. You need someone who you can trust, someone you feel comfortable talking to about difficult subjects and intimate secrets, someone who will be a partner in your recovery. Therapy will not be effective unless you have this bond, so take some time in the beginning to find the right person.
It is worth talking to a few potential therapists and asking questions. Therapists also have special areas of focus, such as depression or eating disorders. For some issues, such as trauma or PTSD, seeing a specialist is absolutely essential.
How many sessions of Therapy will I need?
Everyone’s treatment is different. How long your therapy lasts depends on many factors.
You may be offered a single session of counselling, a short course of sessions over a few weeks or months or a longer course that lasts for several months or years.
It can take a number of sessions before you start to see progress but you should gradually start to feel better with the help and support of your trusted Bark therapist.
What should I look for in a Therapist?
Professional counsellor training takes three to five years and can be a diploma or degree level. Qualification requires a minimum number of client hours acquired through a work placement.
You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark and Bark can show you reviews from past customers who have used their therapy.
What are the benefits of Therapy?
Therapy has repeatedly and consistently helped patients with a whole host of issues. It can help with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder. Or it can help with an upsetting physical health condition such as infertility, a difficult life event such as a bereavement or a relationship breakdown. It can also be used to tackle difficult emotions such as low self-esteem, anger or sexual identity issues. Therapists also offer couples therapy. Therapists can also help with anxiety issues deriving from the coronavirus.
Can I get a Therapist online?
Absolutely! Many therapists offer sessions over the phone or through an online video chat platform, so you can have a session from the comfort of your own home - all you need is a strong internet connection and you're good to go.
