What do you love most about your job?

I love dogs and being able to help people create a stronger connection with their pet is my favourite part of the job. Puppy training can be particularly rewarding as well!

Do you offer any specialised forms of training?

I can offer everything from house training a puppy to teaching an adult how to complete an agility course in competition. I specialise in commands and being able to instruct owners on how to handle their pup, as well as teaching them how to better understand their dog. One of the more specialist aspects I train on is separation anxiety.

What variety of training options do you provide for clients?

I believe I offer a great range, including home visits, group sessions, and private one-to-one instructor classes. I’m also happy meeting in a suitable public place such as a dog park. Working with you and your dog, we’ll create a routine that works perfectly.

What qualifications have you achieved?

I have earned qualifications from: the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors, Level 3 CPD Accredited Dog Training, Diploma in Dog Training, and more. I’ve also attended dozens of seminars hosted by leading trainers/behaviourists. I’m a full member of the Guild of Dog Trainers and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

We are deeply grateful to Logan, owner of Dogs Gone Mild, for providing exceptional training and care to our poodles over the past decade, transforming them from unruly puppies into well-mannered companions. His expertise, dedication, and boarding services have given us peace of mind while traveling, and we highly recommend his outstanding services for superior training and boarding.

Here is my loving, obedient dog Mia, whose moto is “you leave me alone and I’ll leave you alone”…..however, what she lacked was social skills with other people and dogs. After several different trainers and training facilities, including 2 weeks at the local prison, things did not evolve how I expected. She was still very protective of me and very reactive to others if they got close. I was using, as I was later told bandaids (masks) as a precaution. So I found yet another trainer, and my final try.. Jonathan and K-9 Revolution. And so it began….. I highly recommend Jonathan and his K-9 Revolution dog training facility! Their positive and patient approach transformed my dog's behavior, and they were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. Jonathan is truly an amazing dog trainer. Jonathan and his trainers are positive and patient and use positive reinforcement techniques, which fostered a strong bond of trust and respect between my dog and me. They were always patient and understanding, even when my dog was struggling. They are knowledgeable and experienced. They have a deep understanding of canine behavior and training methods. They were able to quickly identify the root causes of my dog's issues and develop a tailored training plan that worked. Jonathan and his crew communicated clearly and effectively, explaining the training process and providing helpful tips and strategies. They always made sure I understood what was happening and how to continue the training at home. They sent small daily snippet videos so I could see Mia and the trainer working together. Jonathan and the others are genuinely passionate about dogs and has a natural ability to connect with them. My dog clearly loved their training sessions and always looked forward to seeing them. They are results-oriented and Mia made significant progress with Jonathan’s help. They were able to address specific behavioral issues and help my dog develop into a more well-behaved and happy companion. Jonathan and his crew are professional, punctual, and reliable. They always followed through on their commitments and made the training process smooth and stress-free. They also use a 3-3-3 rule for dog trainining—It suggests that the first three days should be used for adjusting to their new surroundings, the next three weeks for training and bonding, and the first three months for continued socialization and training. His training protocol is for the most part very exacting and needs to be followed for continued success with your dog’s behaviors. We now go regularly to his 2 hour Saturday socialization and training sessions to continue to modify and shape Mia’s behavior. Believe me, none of this has been easy and there is plenty of work to be done, but Jonathan , Stephanie, Shannon and Ashley have made a big impact on our lives….

We sent our 1 year old golden retriever Skye to CCS for the board and train program to work on some behavioral issues - the most prominent ones being resource guarding, leash reactivity, and lack of confidence. The trainers welcomed our dog with open arms and made her feel safe and loved throughout her time with them. This was evident in the many updates/photos they sent to us throughout the program, and in her body language during our 1:1 lesson with them following her stay. Since Skye has been home, she is less fearful and reactive. Her confidence has been really shining. We have not noticed any resource guarding (which was previously a daily occurrence). She also walks on the leash in a full heel and no longer protests leaving the neighborhood. Lastly, she sits patiently and comfortably in her “place”, which has helped mitigate a lot of attention seeking behaviors she had before at home. We could not be more thrilled with the results. The CCS trainers are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and it is evident that they truly love and are dedicated to the work they do. They are so easy to work with and really took the time to work with us and Skye following the board and train to give us the tools/resources we needed for her to have continued success. I would highly recommend this company! We look forward to continue working with them in the future.
