Cultura Coach and Consult

After getting my Bachelors in Business Management, I have spent over two decades building and growing a family business, along with a few others. It was during my career that I realized my passion and energy for growing small businesses, building systems and processes that scale, and leading people towards alignment and empowerment. It was during that time in which I noticed that most business leaders are excellent at their craft, specialists in their industry, but can suffer from a few key business strategies holding them and their business back from their goals. And that drove me crazy. I wanted to help business leaders succeed, creating sustainable businesses they run, versus the other way around. By identifying these items, building in foundational structures of systems and process, along with developing new paths for revenue and profit, these companies are able to see sustainable growth. Rather than continuing to do this for one company, as an executive employee, I chose the route of coaching to impact more leaders, more businesses, and more employees. Specializing in helping visionaries, founders, and entrepreneurs, I help them build the business of their dreams with more time for the things that matter. I have been fortunate enough to see the fruits of this as one of my clients grew his business 42% in our first year working together. I do all of this from my home in Tigard, Oregon, USA with my wife and two girls.

What do you love most about your job?

I love helping leaders build something better.
Whether that is becoming improved versions of themselves, through improving productivity (Doing more in less time) or helping them build the business of their dreams.

I have a great passion and energy to make things run smoothly, more efficiently, resulting in more time and money.

What inspired you to start your own business?

When working for a company, I am limited to my impact reach (One Company), however, by starting my own coaching and consulting business, I am able to impact many.
When leaders improve, the company improves. When the company improves, it impacts so many employees, which positively impacts many families. This is the joy of why I do what I do.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am far from a cookie-cutter coach or consultant company. I build a custom roadmap for each of my clients, based upon their specific goals and evolve this throughout our engagement. After each session I send a follow up email detailing the agreed upon action items for the following week to help us achieve our results.

In addition, I am very relatable, while at the same time, not here to waste anyone's time. I have an energy and passion that is contagious, driving others to be the best selves they can be.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I provide all of my services online and remotely. I work from my home just outside of Portland, OR (PST) where I have a 1GB connection, 4K Camera, etc.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Customer safety is a priority. To ensure this, I have maintained a fully remote, yet fully interactive presence for my customers.

Working with Gary Finnan of Evoke has been an absolute pleasure and a learning experience as he helped sharpen the fuzzy edges of my vision into actionable objectives. The plan we developed together gave me greater clarity to establish a structured roadmap for developing my newly purchased historical building as a mixed-use project. His ability to navigate the complexity of small-town USA and expose NC Main St Development opportunities was most invaluable. I am excited to think about what we do together next.

I recommend Jonathan highly! When I didn't meet my goals, he was always supportive and encouraging, never judgmental. He always responded to me with pragmatic suggestions as well as emotional support. I felt safe being open about my actual activities when I fell short of goal, and about the thoughts and feelings that were getting in my way. I purchased a package of 3 months of individual coaching, which also included weekly group coaching and weekly Q&A. Jonathan has a lot to say about how to make and sustain changes. He's really thoughtful, he has a lot of experience, and, most of all, Jonathan sincerely wants to know how things are actually going, good or bad. The goal is to reach your goals, but process is what leads to goals. Jonathan great with both goals and process.
