I have been a professional MC for over 20 years, having performed on stages across South Africa (from Grand West to Sun City), and 5* venues such as 12 Apostles Hotel and various wine farms. I also present an Emcee Masterclass for aspiring MC's to up their skill. Being an MC is about more than just being good behind the microphone. It’s about being relatable to multiple audiences, having the ability to adapt your performance to the crowd, and assisting both the venue and the client in running the program to time.
An event could be the most special day of your life, a celebration in your business, a coming together - and I get to help facilitate your vision of that moment to make it both memorable and as easy as possible. Seeing people enjoying their own event is such a joyful experience, and one I am privileged to be a part of.
I've been on stage since I was 15 and have always had a passion for entertaining, facilitating events, and generally making people smile. My goal is to be the go-to emcee for weddings, events, corporate functions, gala dinners - because why wouldn't I want to meet incredible people doing amazing things and get to witness their special moment!
With over 30 years on stage, I have a passion for making an event run as smoothly as I am possibly able. My deep resonant voice lends a presence to my presentation, along with a good sense of humour. But more importantly, I stick to the agenda and work to stay to the time schedule (which benefits the venue, the caterers, the guests, the staff, and the client). As emcee, I coordinate with the different role players to ensure an event with as little disruption as possible - because you want your event to be remembered for all the right reasons.
