Our team recently attended a wellness session with Michelle and it honestly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the setup was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully arranged to create a safe space for reflection and engagement. What really stood out to me was how interactive the session was, we weren’t just passive listeners. We did some fun and insightful quizzes that really got me thinking about my habits and overall wellbeing, and one of the most meaningful activities was writing a letter to my future self. It was such a powerful moment of self-connection that I didn’t expect to have in a group setting. The content was well-structured, relevant, and clearly prepared with care. You could tell Michelle put genuine thought into every part of the experience. I left feeling inspired, recharged, and a little more grounded. A truly worthwhile experience.

It was an interactive wellness session where we had to interrogate ourselves in real time. It was also a good team building exercise where we had to work together to achieve a common goal One of the key take aways is that in order to perform optimally and be the best, you have to learn to put yourself first. It has also helped me to move away from situation if it overwhelming me, take a break and then deal with it.

I liked the way the mindset on how we nurture our relationships versus the 6 most important and 5 most important things we value as a person. I belong to the church prayer group that's only women between the ages of 75 years to 32 yrs We have quarterly fellowships where we all get to host the day and be real with each other. I took this opportunity since I had to start our 1st session and thought this would be a really good opportunity to share what was shared with me, 1. We started with praise and worship 2. We then each prayed for different things, like protection from abuse, our community, our families, youth job opportunities, safety in the schools, the sick, the homeless, etc. 3. What are you thankful for, 4. List the 6 most important - no particular order 5. List the 5 most important to least important The ladies were completely shocked as they realized that they did not even mention themselves on the 1st 3 numbers, not even all 5. The ladies were teary and shocked and admitted that they had been neglecting themselves and that it was time for them to think of themselves 1st and everything else will follow. 6. Each one wrote a letter of Gratitude to themselves, which I collected, then handed them back after mixing them. I went to each lady and read her letter to her, then I hugged her and said always remember that you are the most important person to yourself and never forget it. Closure, The ladies were glad that we started with such an important session. - You are important to yourself (self-love starts with yourself). Thank you and Best Regards Yolande Mann
