In 1998 I enrolled at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Port Elizabeth. I loved the process of capturing images and then seeing it develop in a darkroom. I played around and experimented and throughout my career it’s been a vital part of my creative process, - to constantly explore and teach myself new things. After my studies, I worked in Johannesburg as a freelance photographer in the advertising and magazine industry for publications like De Kat and Y-magazine.
