Residential interior designers are responsible for the layout, design, and decoration of residential building spaces. They manage interior design projects in private homes or investment property from portfolios. Most interior designers will hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Interior Design. I offer project management services to run alongside and in the lead up to an interior design project. For example, project managing a kitchen extension before work on the decoration and interiors has begun. This is subject to availability and how busy we are, but it’s always great to be involved in a project from the very beginning. This can bring really exceptional results. It’s also helpful for clients who have busy jobs. Having one go-to person for all project queries helps to ensure efficiency, consistency and focus, so that nothing is missed.

We were absolutely thrilled with Mel’s interior design ideas. She completely transformed our large media room into a vibrant space that the whole family now enjoys. The concept she created was out-of-the-box, a vision we could not have come up with on our own. The combination of paint colours, furniture, wallpaper and timber features all came together beautifully, and it was within budget too! I will definitely use Uptown Jane Interiors for our next project. Highly recommend.

Chris was very professional and incredibly knowledgeable. We needed our Women's Bathrooms completely redone. Chris worked with us to create a modern, fresh space that was incredibly well received by everyone at the club. We have now engaged with Chris to help us with the Men’s Bathroom. Chris is very professional and understood what we were after and helped us realise those plans. We would continue to work with Chris for any future upgrades at the club
