I arrived on time for my train into Connolly station and an announcement stated that the next train would be delayed by 13 minutes. Ok, so when it arrived, it was on platform 2. Everyone on platform 1 went across to platform 2 as the train sain Connolly station on it and seconds later a train from Sligo arrived on platform 1, which was going direct to Connolly. So lots of people, including myself crossed the bridge to get it but seconds before we went to board the train the driver closed the doors and everyone had to go back to platform 2 to get that train, which I might add stopped at every station. I'm living in Maynooth years and this is not the first time this has happened, the lack of communications to passengers is disgraceful. Surly it can't be hard to keep passengers updated with a quick announcement that would have prevented all the confusion. If it was only me then you could argue that it was my mistake but when so many passengers are looking at each other in confusion then it's pretty clear the train company need to update their systems or at least get the staff to care enough to make a simple announcement so passengers can get the correct train. I rarely use public transport as it's outdated, overpriced and zero customer service, what a joke. More...

Its very far from Dublin city centre. There are buses and trains which goes here. The bus takes almost an hour. Mostly residential complex. Some very big stores of tesco and other super markets can be seen here. More...

Train always shows up on time and staff are helpful if you ever need them. Accepts cash and leap. There's also a shop where you can buy leap cards and snacks, though I'm not sure how often it's open. The train departs every 30 minutes off peak. More...
