I hired Blaine for an urgent house survey. Confirmed I'd have the report within a week. I paid. One month later I was chasing him down. I asked for my money back. Told me he'd send me report for free, didn't get that either. I don't know why he has 7 X 5*. I'm still wondering why he bothered answering my ad just to ghost me. I will never pay upfront again. Hi Gillian, I'd like to offer some important points from my perspective. Firstly, I had not ghosted you as I had been in contact with you all throughout the month as I never ignored any of the times you contacted me. Secondly, its important to add that you got a full refund immediately and without hassle upon request. I have 5 star reviews from all other customers due to the fact that they received a 5 star service - and that's fair. It's important to note that I did indeed carry out the survey of the property and completed the report, albeit - late. I gained nothing by "ghosting you" as the work had already been done. Unfortunately, as I explained to you, there was a technical issue with my hard drive at the time and it was in for data retrieval with a technician. You declined to accept this as a reason for the delay. I apologised for the delay and I am still sorry I could not give you the same service I provide for all of my customers. P.s I was advised by my solicitor not to provide the report for free as the contract between you and me had broken down professionally and I was at risk. Otherwise I would have granted the report in order to try and repair the breakdown in the relationship with you. Regards, Blaine
