Not only do I get to spend my time listening to some of the greatest songs in history, but I get to meet a huge range of people. Every event is different. No two weddings are the same and corporate events can be absolutely riotous! Birthdays are some of my favourite parties to work with as you get to be a part of such an amazing diversity of styles.
I began by being into music more than most people as a teen. I realised I had a love for every genre and there didn’t seem to be anything I didn’t like or appreciate. I then purchased some music software and began mashing up songs. I shared them with my friends and they all loved it. I would then always be the one in charge of selecting music for car rides or house parties and it grew from there. I was a solo DJ for the first time at university and started working at the local bars and clubs. I fell in love with it. I was asked by a friend to work his Christmas party and that’s how it became a full-time job for me.
This event is your event. I’m here to act as MC, making sure the atmosphere is perfect and assisting you in crafting a brilliant time for all. Not everyone realises just how important music is to an event, even if it’s in the background and no one is dancing. It’s my job to cover those bases for you. I’m totally flexible with requests and will always run through the setlist and timings of the event with you beforehand. You don’t want the most active songs when people are primed for a slow dance. Music can help guide an event and I’m here to help you.

We hired Jack to DJ at a joint 30th & 60th birthday celebration, which was a challenge in itself to play music suitable for completely different eras! But everyone had an amazing time and I couldn’t recommend him enough. He arrived in plenty of time to set up, he was professional and really friendly. His setup was also ideal as he provided lights and speakers etc, so an all in one package. Would definitely book him again if the need arises. Thanks again Jack!

What a fantastic 50th birthday celebration for my husband! DJ Palvo made the night extra special. He arrived and promptly assembled an impressive and professional stand with lights and a special large number 50 that looked great in all of the photos. He did a great job gauging the volume and type of music as the party started and people were chatting. Then as the night went on, it got more lively to get people out on the dance floor - exactly what we wanted. Great mix of music, very responsive to our guests' requests and incredibly professional. I highly recommend DJ Palvo and several people at our party asked for his details as well.
