I'm training with Neil since May when I hadn't properly exercised in months due to a long commute with work and lack of motivation. I wanted to target some specific areas so he introduced me to Hypoxi training. Hypoxi isn't the intense work out I was used to so I was a little sceptical. Having reviewed results with Neil I was keen to do better. Neil analysed my diet and provided expert advice as to how to really reap the benefits of this new training through tidying up around my food. The good news was this didn't mean a huge reduction in calories but clean, smart eating several times daily. A meal plan that is manageable!With a change in job, my commute meant I could get back to his training sessions. His classes are well-organised and challenging. I've struggled with injuries over the past few years so it's important for me that an instructor can identify this and work with me on them. This can be a challenge in a group setting but Neil modifies exercises for anyone who needs it, keeping you safe but pushing you to the limit... You won't get an extra rest break if the exercise doesn't agree with you!!Meal advice, Hypoxi and training all in combination have given me results I am delighted with. I highly recommend this boxing gym. I have been going to Neil for 6 months and apart from a lot of fun with lovely people in the classes, his workouts really enhanced my physical strength and coordination. I started training with Neil 3 months before my wedding and what a difference it made!! I’ve always been really into gym and fitness so finding classes that I find tough and worthwhile is always a struggle. I have to say, Neil is one of the best trainers I’ve ever trained with. He pushes you to your limits while still making all his classes so enjoyable. In addition to the classes, I did a few personal training boxing sessions which were fantastic! I also used the Hypoxi machines in the run up to my wedding and the results were brilliant! Places that I usually struggled to tone (bum and thighs) were suddenly firm and tight! I have been going to Neil for more than 2 years and having tried lots of different gyms and classes over the years, I can sincerely say that this is the best that I have experienced. Apart from the benefits that you can expect from any physical workout, Neil's approach of tailoring exercise to individual clients has really worked for me. He takes time to understand what you need and he builds an engaging programme around those needs. He has a very open-minded attitude which means he is not afraid to adapt the sessions if he feels more can be achieved by tweaking things. Got a gift voucher for 4 sessions for Christmas and have been going to Neil's boxing classes and circuit training ever since. Every class is different and each week Neil adds in something new to help you progress further- a new exercise, a new combination or simply a progression in the weights you use. Plus there is a very relaxed, fun and welcoming atmosphere in the classes which makes me want to go each week. Suitable for all fitness levels too because Neil tailors everything to suit each client. Neil - excellent trainer, highly recommended. Whatever your fitness need is, he can address it: flexibility (for me that was main thing esp. back); strength; speed; weight loss - and he was a premier boxer in his day and runs very enjoyable boxing classes. Not a Sergeant Major in terms of his approach - he's motivational in his own way. I did personal training with him and it was transformative for me. Once I got to a certain level, I now attend his evening classes a few times a week. I found him randomly on google but I consider it a massive stroke of luck that I did.
