Tyler Putnam is a professional opera singer (bass-baritone) living in New York City. He has performed with The Santa Fe Opera, Manitoba Opera, Sarasota Opera, Opera Tampa, Opera Omaha, and Opera på Skäret in Sweden. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music and theater from Dartmouth College. In addition to his knowledge of opera, Tyler’s passion for performing began in musical theater. He has performed roles in musicals such as Oklahoma! The Music Man, South Pacific, Damn Yankees, Jekyll & Hyde, Anything Goes, and The Producers. Tyler’s focus in voice lessons is unlocking the physical and acoustic potential of the human voice through focused study and application of time-honored vocal techniques (scales, messa di voce, appoggio.)
